Rumors about Dr. Eric Mackey, State Superintendent of Education, making some sort of big statement today.

Anyone hearing anything about this?

Yes. The wife is a teacher in the Birmingham area and has heard that from friends who teach in two different school systems.

They are trying to work a puzzle with some of the pieces missing, some are blurry, and some don't look like they fit. I'm sure that adds up to accurate projections.

Just admit we still don't know shite and stop with the long range planning attempts.

So, Alabama released today’s numbers apparently despite KNOWING they included old positive tests from Montgomery and Mobile counties that had already been reported.

Hey Frank, these numbers aren’t right.

I don’t care Joe, it is 2:00. Send them to the media anyhow.

Bet this turns out to be same as the “confirmed covid parties” in Tuscaloosa. Just circular rumor confirmation.

State agencies notify the media when they are making newsworthy statements. If something was coming there would be media teasers up by now.

At the risk of opening this can of worms again, two of the nursing homes I work with somehow got positive cases over the past few days. They've been very vigilant and diligent about keeping it out of the building and done pretty well, but it got in. So guess what the doctors in both facilities, one in the Ft. Walton Beach/Destin/Niceville area and one in the Pensacola area are ordering like candy? For patients that should be at the highest risk for adverse effects and negative outcomes.

Hydroxychloroquine, azithromycin, zinc, Vitamin C & D. The same hydroxychloroquine that is supposed to be ineffective and dangerous according to all the studies. And there are 247 studies in process on HCQ and COVID going on worldwide at this very moment. For a drug that has supposedly been shown not to work, there sure is a lot of investigating going on.

I believe in evidence based medicine. It is the foundation of my career and my job. But the evidence that I am receiving from usually reliable trusted sources are telling me one thing when actual observation is telling me another.

It’s because Trump endorses it that people are against HCQ. If Biden wins watch their be a study that comes out that Validates it again

If Biden wins, a vaccine comes out in a week or the numbers drop drastically. It really is obvious to see for most of us.

Actually they will wait until January. Don't want Trump to get the credit.

Do you believe that the AMA is capable of doing what's best for their patients without playing politics?

The individual doctors? Yes.

The organization? Absolutely not.

Numbers are going down across America. Time to move the goalposts. I'm guessing children infections? Be interesting what switch the media will make.

This Doctor, James Todaro, MD has a great thread on Twitter about immunity. It begins well and you can quickly see where it is going without reading the whole thread. Very informative. Hope you will check it out.

Let me tell you, Big Pharma is one of the most corrupt industries in this country. They and the insurance companies collude to keep the profits flowing and the share price high by sticking it to the American consumer. We pay more for drugs than any other country in the world. And any time price controls are mentioned, Big Pharma trots out how that will put a chill on innovation, research, and development.

So in other words, you're forcing Americans to fund all the drug research for the rest of the world by overcharging us for the drugs our money allows you to develop.

Or you cut deals with generic companies where you pay them to NOT release generic versions of drugs when they become available through patent expiration.

Or you arrange kickbacks with insurers and Pharmacy Benefit Managers (another demonic creation) to ensure that your drug is the preferred one on their formulary even though it might not be the best or the cheapest. You call it a "rebate" and it's all nice and legal even though by anyone's definition, it's a kickback and should thus be illegal.

It's how we do business. About everyone in any high position of the government has ties to major corporations that profit from their decisions.

Replacing one administration for another just means appointing new faces with an agenda that benefits the major corporations who backed the elected officials appointing them.

This would be understandable if the current administration was pushing for the drug listed in the article.

They aren't.

They are pushing a drug that costs almost nothing yet the NIH is pushing a drug that has failed multiple times to be effective.

Interesting, right?
