It's still early. We got Collins in May, Bola in August, and Edwards in July.

True, but I figured we would have at least heard our name mentioned with one of them by now. My guess is we'll end up with a guy with Arthur Edwards-like numbers.

Braxton Key will enter the NBA Draft but WILL NOT hire an agent according to @AlabamaMBB

Cecil Hurt's reporting that Braxton is entering the draft but not hiring an agent.
I wouldn't think there's too much to worry about here, but certainly not the best news.
Seems like a fairly bright kid, so hopefully he'll get the evaluation and come back.

I'm telling you now, if he leaves, this program is cursed....i don't think he's leaving tho. Probably just testing it

He gone...
But, I do see what you are saying that he retains his amateur status by not hiring an agent. Hope he comes back.

He'll have until May 24th to decide to stay. It could be a long month.

Like, he's not even close to ready for that. He's not even close to ready to seriously be evaluated. He's an Oak Hill kid, he understands this process. This is a bit baffling.

I don't know the ins and outs of being evaluated, but what does it hurt to declare and get evaluated?

Yea - I really don't know. The whole being able to declare with a claw back to hold on to amateur status is relatively new.

Always been that way down here...all our decent guys declare to early smh. Hendrix did the same thing. Pretty sure Green did to.

Hendrix wasn't going to get any better. He was what he was. Green had other issues.
The two that stick out as guys leaving too early were Winston and Davidson. However, this is obviously different as he can come back.

I'm just saying something like this always happens when we have a decent returning roster. I'm like why us lol...I'd expect the big guy from Auburn to declare but Bra ton Key?.?

I believe he's just getting evaluated. Hard to imagine he would be drafted at this point, but this will put him in front of scouts and they'll give him a very honest assessment on what he needs to improve to make the Association.
We'll see, but if he gets eval'd and comes back I think it would be a good thing for the program.

Im rooting like hell that he forgets how to play and sucks in the evaluations.
