Even if he has to sit for part of this season, Kira reclassifying and signing with us would be ideal. Hopefully Avery is starting to really find his footing with recruiting. Pulling a top ~70 player out of South Carolina of all places is a good sign. If we can establish a presence outside of Alabama/Mississippi it would significantly improve the overall talent level of the roster and help us survive down cycles in state.

What did Byrne say on the AL.com article about facilities? I assume its a video since it won't load on my work computer. Anything new?

The article itself just basically said there’s a plan in place for when facilities need to be updated and that includes making money off of tickets, fundraisers, etc to raise enough money for those things. That’s all the article really said. The video didn’t mention anything about facilities

When are we expecting to hear regarding the Coleman makeover/new arena? I know Byrne and Avery have said it was looking like a reno, but do we know when the formal announcement will be and if we'll be able to see plans?

I know almost for a fact it’ll be a complete renovation of the inside. But it’ll be an actual good one I think. It should look completely different after it’s done. And I’m thinking it’ll be announced sometime right before the season. Idk if we’ll be able to see the plans and idk exactly what year they’ll begin working on it

I would think Kira is going to reclassify. He's already quit his hs basketball team. And if he's eligible to graduate early, I don't see why he'll stick around there

Idk if the Penn st game is in BHam or not. They were the NIT champs last year so I guess that would be a good game to play there.

So this Kira situation went from “Kira COULD reclassify” to now “EXPECT Kira to reclassify and enroll at Bama”. Likely by December. Had 2 different reliable sources tell me this. God I hope this happens
