Over hyped? I haven't seen anyone compare him to Lebron. I've seen a better Julius Randle. The hype is over his athleticism but he has skills and he is only 16. As far as Reese guarding him. He didn't look like he even wanted to challenge him.

I just hope Colin can teach everybody to shoot free throws.

They asked the kid on ESPN if he was the next Lebron. The best prospect since Lebron stuff is pretty widespread.

You think the South Carolina fans would chant we want Zion in an elite eight game if they thought he was Julius Randle?

Yeah I agree, and that's what I'm sick of. Zion has great athletic potential, but he hasn't played the best competition yet outside of several games at the NBA 100 camp.

s the zone Sexton driving and shooting ability should help with that. Plus Petty can shoot it as well. We need a guy who can rebound. No way we can depend on Hall for that

So you're going to rely on 2 freshmen to keep the defense honest? Giddens isn't a shooter and Hall is a great rebounder...

Kentucky does it year in and year out. This is college basketball where a freshman can come in and be one of the best players in the nation.

Kentucky relies on more than 2 players to hit their 3s. Even if Petty and Sexton come in as 40% 3pt shooters, it takes more than 2 shooters to break a zone. Those 2 players can't play the entire game.

I have a question that isn't aimed at anyone directly, because I don't even really know when or how it started.

Maybe I made it up in my own head, I don't know.

But for some reason I thought Armond Davis was supposed to be a three point sharpshooter before the season started.

Even at the Tip Off event it seemed like he was being billed as that.

Like he had "in the gym" type range.

Was I the only one who felt that way?

He wasn't even a decent shooter last year, he was actually pretty terrible at it. I think he was less than 25%.

If he was a 40% guy, we theoretically win 2-5 more games and make the NCAAT.

Just wondering if others agreed.

I was led to believe this same thing. I don't follow JUCO stuff, so I have no idea if he sucked shooting at whatever Idaho school or not.

Similar to King I expected a lot more based on what the coaches were saying.

Sexton is Westbrook 2.0. You heard it here first. Bookmark my post.

That's exactly what I've been saying for months. He just oozes Westbrook. Insanely athletic, kind of crazy focused, zero fear, not a GREAT shooter but a good shooter.

I can't wait.

Yes? They fill our biggest offensive needs : attacker and shooter. Will make a world of difference for Key and Ingram.
