Well if they’re actually considering a new arena, then they’re definitely taking it serious. So if we go with a renovation I expect it’ll be taken serious as well. Byrne seems to actually care about basketball unlike past ADs

Byrne is the only reason I semi-expect this to come to fruition and be nice.

He toured Florida’s arena inside and out when we played at Florida this year. I expect it’ll be similar to theirs

A good poster on TI said Collin’s 60/40 leaning towards the NBA. He’s really struggling with his decision, but he’s expected to announce this week one way or another

quote:

SAN ANTONIO — When Michigan coach John Beilein evaluates whether to pursue a promising high school prospect, the statistic that matters most to him is never shooting percentage, wingspan or vertical leap. Beilein first hunts for a potential recruit’s birthdate so he can assess whether the player is young or old for his grade and how much room for growth he has. “I study birthdays like crazy,” Beilein said. “You’ll see a kid who’s about to turn 19 and somebody will rate him in a 17-under league. ‘Oh, he’s terrific.’ You see another kid that’s still 16 playing 17-under. ‘Oh, he’s not good enough.’ I mean, there’s three years difference. Anybody who has had children knows that’s a big difference.”

This further drives my comment on bball being like soccer. What Beilein is doing is smart and realistic. Reminds me of how Wisconsin found Kaminsky when he was much shorter.

Michigan is playing pretty tight D on Nova so far. Really not letting them execute.

Heard from a good source that Riley is coming back. I know someone else in here said that as well

Been a good game so far. The second half might get crazy

They're getting testy on the court too. You can tell both of these teams are giving all effort.

I swear if there's one great thing about Nova, it's that they look fricking violent going after the ball.

I dont see how we have room for Riley to come back unless Jr. Gets taken off scholarship. Avery needs to nut up and just flat out tell Riley we dont have room because we recruited thinking he wouldnt be here.

I'm glad the refs are letting them play. It's pretty physical. I love it

Riley has been one of the better all around players on the team. We could have used him this year. I don't get all the people who don't want him back.

We had a better first half against Villanova then Michigan...

They have more experience and talent.

This game is playing out pretty similar to Bama v Villanova so far. . .

Doing great job against Nova's 3 pt shooters but then DiVicenzo makes some tougher 3pt shots for bit of a halftime lead. . .
then flood gates open early in second half. ..

That Ginger is ruthless.

Remember how some were bashing the guys saying they were defending their three point shooters?

That Ginger burned Michigan for 18 in the first half the same way he burned us for 18.

That team is just unreal.

Nova has too many weapons. On top of that, they hustle and block out. Someone mentioned that this run might be the best tournament run ever. If they close this game out strong then I agree. It's fun to watch

Honestly,Anthony Davis Kentucky is the only National title team the last 10 years I would pick to beat them.
