I know Memphis was a power under Calipari, but are they usually a solid team and have a good RPI?

They went to four straight tournaments from 2011-2014 after Cal left. Also, they have 3 final fours although two have been vacated.
This year they finished near Auburn in RPI I think. It was Tubby's first season.

This past season they finished 19-13 (9-9) with an RPI of 120 according to ESPN

Looks like they're returning pretty much everyone. Their most significant loss is a senior big guy who average 14 minutes, 4 pts, and 2 reb per game.

What do we really need? I'm thinking that kid would be good long term with Colin leaving possibly after next season. I'd love to have another good rebounding big with some offense though

Probably a big this year. I'm not sure how reliable the freshmen bigs will be.

We have a problem with defense's running a packed-in Zone on us. Unless we can prove that we can hit from the outside, bangers are useless.
Plus, from what I hear you may already have your banger in Giddens.
