I love me a good corruption story, but I'm worried this might spread a lot further. We all know AAU stuff is dirty.

This could definitely change college basketball.

Without Wiley & Herron, how far does fall?
Huge hit to lose those 2.

That's the least of their worries right now...

Do they have any croots we can steal?

EJ Montgomery is a 5-star, but we were never really involved with him. Diante Wood becomes a very easy get if we want him though, but I'd personally rather save the scholarship.

This is bad and only going to get worse. The NCAA hasn't even gotten involved yet.

How do y'all see this playing out for Wiley and Herron? Will the NCAA make them ineligible for the upcoming season?

Feels like a guarantee at this point.

Yea, they received money and they have proof. They should be ineligible. The college basketball fallout from all of this will be huge. This is some serious shite. Just wait till people start wanting plea deals.

My only silver lining is that we were publicly announced as a "top basketball program" by the US Attorney's office
Either we #MadeIt or they have the wrong school

In all honesty, this will end up bad for a lot of schools. It's just getting started. Everyone who has signed big name kids in the past 3 years needs to pucker

I am hoping it blows up. If it does, NCAA may waccept coaches being canned rather than tank half of CBB players and punishing blue bloods

NCAA has a longstanding history of allowing the repayment of impermissible benefits. FBI is framing this as rogue coaches preying on young people + families. NCAA's best PR move prob is to frame as corrupt coaches and let players off w/ slap on the wrist
I think Heron is off the table. Sounds like his situation helped deliver him to Auburn
Wiley's situation will be interesting. He was already coming to Auburn and then was "taken advantage of" so he could have more options

The player implicated for the Arizona coach appears to be a 2018 PG, so shouldn't affect this year's game. At least not based on what is publicly known

Louisville is about to get hammered

Was hoping for DeAndre Ayton, he will be a nightmare for us & anyone who plays Arizona.

Are we confident we won't get caught up in this? We just signed a couple vey high profile kids too. Maybe I'm still jaded from the late 90s and early 2000s
