Saw a video on twitter. Hall looks bigger.

I think our free throws are cursed. Sexton rarely ever missed a free throw in high school. Shot over 90% I think. Well tonight at one point I read he missed three in a row

I guess the easy choice is to bring Petty off the benchh but if we want to play fast he should be playing. Dazon being scared to shoot will slow things up. Man the videos of have me excited,

I was there. Was prepared to be embarrassed by the crowd, instead I was absolutely floored. 2k easily.. probably pushed 3k.
During the game situation, they played 4:15. And the score was 22-15. A bunch of 3s fell, Petty hit one and took a foul. Collin hit a 3 and a deep two off screens. Hit another 3 in transition.
Galin Smith battles very hard for rebounds.. exceptional effort in that regard. Not sure if I see it getting him a ton of minutes yet.
Sexton has fun in transition.
Giddens put a nasty post move on Hall on a drawn up play. Finished with a slam. He is going to be some major muscle under the basket. Hall had a good back to the basket move for a bucket. During Free Throws, Donta did not miss. He was much better from the line at the end of last year, and he seems to have found a consistent stroke. Each attempt looks identical.
Davis hit a couple threes with hands in his face.
Still struggled from the line during the designated FT drill. During the game situation it was better.
I'm sure I'm missing stuff.

If we can just stay healthy, we should be a dangerous team.

Looks good. Lot of jump shots.

I agree with all of eric's points. I was a bit distracted by my friends, but here's some stuff I saw that I don't think has been mentioned.
We shouldn't have nearly as much trouble against the press. The new backcourt guys- Herb, Sexton, Petty can handle the ball.
Hall is much more skilled as a player. Better jump hook, better free throws, smarter movement. He still needs to get a little stronger and set better screens, but he's improved.
Reese and Galin looked good. Reese can pass a lot better than I thought, but he's not confident in the post. Avery even told him one time to not pass it out.
When we were in the scrimmage mode, we looked like an excellent offensive team. Good spacing, better shooting, fast paced, it was fun to watch. I think the moment got the best of some of the guys because they started stepping into 3s after they got hot, but they kept making them.
I don't see any way Petty doesn't start, but at the same time, Riley had a good practice. Maybe like some have said Petty coming off the bench but getting more minutes than several starters.
Lineup wise Sexton and Herb were backcourt partners a lot. That might've been different with a healthy Dazon. Herb might not be there yet, but I could see him as a starting PG in the future. Giddens and Hall also got a lot time together.

Man - people are excited. This is so fantastic.
Can't wait to watch this team. So fast, so many talented kids. Probably will be frustrating at times with the youth and inexperience, but we have some guys this season who can do things that we haven't seen since the Winston/Steele/Shelton days.

That's worrisome. Same foot he broke as a freshman?

Not sure. They haven't told us much. The coaches are playing it off like it's minor, but I'm not so sure.

I'm so ready!!
Football is almost back and we are a national contender, again with a presumably potent offense ... And basketball will probably be a top 25 more than likely with one of the best freshman/player in the country. :Fingers crossed:

The team leaves for Canada tomorrow. I'm so fricking excited!

I'm excited too. Keep in mind they are young and inexperienced. There will be a couple of nights where we will look unorganized, chaotic, discombobulated and out of sync and can't hit the broad side of a barn. Probably will happen on the road, maybe against Zona when the spotlight is on us bright. And we will get our asses kicked. Don't give up on them and don't get down on them. It's going to happen. Probably can't be avoided. But the rest of the time this team is going to be fun to watch and kick some arse.

Who are you playing in Canada? As in what level of competition and should you clean sweep it?

Nice. So we should average about 180 pts per game. Can't wait.
I do think the offense is going to look a lot better this year. Avery has only had one true scorer since he's been here.
