Glad to get a good transfer. I could be wrong, but we aren't expected to have a great recruiting class next year, right? Help hold us over for a year.

It's a down in-state crop, and Woodard is likely the only currently ranked top 50 player we have a shot at. Considering we will have a sizeable scoring hole to fill when Sexton likely declares after this season, this was a huge pickup. I'd rather have this than a solid grad transfer.

Can I get a briefing on why he was suspended?
"Violation of Team Rules" leaves just too much too speculation and I'm too lazy to find out what the "official unofficial" cause of his suspension(s) was.

I didn't hear him when he said this, but people said he sounded optimistic. If that's the case, I feel like he's coming back.

Figured it was along these lines. Whenever a team struggles and disappoints as bad as Texas did last year, this kind of stuff typically happens.
So note to the team: Don't Lose.

Don't see it happening, but a starting 5 of Sexton, Petty, Mack, Key, and Hall might be the best starting 5 we've ever had. Not to mention we'd have very high quality reserves with Ingram and Giddens coming off the bench.

Even if Sexton does return I expect other players to leave. Guys transfer so fast now.

I think they went 4-13 after the suspension of Tevin, so maybe the other players could use an attitude check.
The risk reward here makes it a good move. If I didn't expect us to have good depth next year, I'd be more worried about this attitude issue.
