I think his name is Yasir Rosemond. Assistant from UGA. He's agreed to coach at Bama

Me either. I trust Avery tho. From what I've read, he seems to be a good recruiter. It's an upgrade imo. We dropped Simon who wasn't getting recruits, and added someone who supposedly a good recruiter.

I don't know either way, but on paper is certainly isn't an upgrade. But, again, we don't really know much of the ins and outs.
Apparently he "almost" got Jaylen Brown, but what does that really mean? He's an Atlanta guy, but he doesn't seem to have much pull in the Metro from his background of signing kids.
However, Pelphrey and Pettway are both top notch recruiters, so perhaps this guy fills a void somewhere.

I'm pretty disappointed with this hire. Georgia basketball has underachieved on the court and on the recruiting trail recently. I hope we didn't make a panic hire after someone turned us down as Cecil reported.
