Missouri is a damn solid basketball team. They are veteran, they are tough, and they do not give in.
This is basically peak good that a Cuonzo team can be.

If Ellis gets more assertive Offensively he is gonna be huge for us next year. I look for him to take over that Blue Collar role that Herb has

Yep, and all vets too. Add in a good point guard and it's a pretty solid college basketball team.

Smh stealing my take. I still am not sold on them, but I’ll admit I have a bias against these types of teams.
I like Dane Bradshaw on games by the way

I guess this goes in here instead of the recruiting thread since he's already signed.

If we get Bruner back to match up with Tilmon I think we beat them

Dane can suck it. Alley ooped us on the opening tip of the State Tournament in 2003.
Jussssst kidding. Dane is a good dude, does a nice job too.

Yep - and their length meant we had to play some bigs and we really didn't have any bigs to play
That 3/2 zone worked well against us. Kentucky is very long and their bigs were quick to close out on perimeter shooters. Would love to see our bigs get around the elbows to make teams like that pay more often. We bailed them out quite a few times not reestablishing a reasonable paint presence after 1st kick out pass.

When I see guys shoot contested 17 footers I gag a little bit.
Coach Oats has trained me well.

Yep - it really threw us off, and even when they went back to man we were still kind of hesitant and off. It really seemed to mess us up the entire half.

Alabama takes down Kentucky -- Crimson Tide on a 10-game winning streak, 9-0 in the SEC. Had their worst offensive game in league play, had their worst shooting night in over a month, and still were able to pull away down the stretch. Best start in league play since 1955-56.

Anyone know if it’s official that basketball players are getting a free year of eligibility? And how would that affect scholarship numbers? It’s selfish, but I’d love to see Jones, Petty and Bruner with Davison running point and Bediako, Wilson, and Tchikou giving us legit big depth. It’s hard to imagine an Alabama Basketball team more exciting than this year, but that would take the cake.

Love that Oats has taken mid range shots out of our offense. Driving to the rim got us many late free throws.
