I made a statement because now that we will play LSU, they're not goign to leave our shooter wide open again.

its been almost 20 years since we've won 3 of 5 from the Cats. Win on Tuesday and that's where we are.

in the early 90's, we won 4 of 5

Alabama currently has won the last game played against every team in the SEC in Football & Basketball except for:

- Missouri (basketball) (2/6)
- Texas A&M (basketball) (2/17)
- Vanderbilt (basketball) (2/20)

Of the remaining games, this one and @ Oklahoma (1/30) seem like the toughest wins. Auburn (3/2) to end the regular season has the potential to be hard fought as well.

There are a few others, Kentucky on Tuesday, LSU (2/3), and @ MSU (2/27) that you could potentially point to as question marks, but we’ve set ourselves up for a great second half of conference play.

Realistically, how do we expect to finish through the next two weeks?

Kentucky (1/26)
@ Oklahoma (1/30)
LSU (2/3)
@ Missouri (2/6)

I'll be surprised if we ever lose again.

Kentucky (W by 8)
@ Oklahoma (L by 6)
LSU (W by 10)
@ Missouri (L by 4)

Sitting at 15-5 (10-1) heading into this stretch

@ #79 South Carolina
#90 Georgia
@ #117 Texas A&M
#151 Vanderbilt
@ #39 Arkansas
@ #80 Mississippi St
#58 Auburn

19-5 (14-1) heading into the last 3 games, probably on the verge of a #1 seed, then lose 2 of 3 at the end to finish 20-7 (15-3). We all have our "here we go again" moment (though on a smaller scale) and question whether we will collapse in the NCAAT , barely able to celebrate the SEC Championship (which will have been wrapped up before those last 3 games).

That's my guess

I’m not saying I’m not concerned (this is Alabama basketball after all), but they won one game at home after dropping 3 straight (one of which we beat them by 20 on the road) against a team who’s previous game was a beat down by 30 at their place (probably closer to 50 if the starters stayed in).

I said this prior to our previous UK game, but they’re trash this year and we should handle them. Having said that losing to them wouldn’t be a surprise though it would be something where I’d question how real this run has been.

Every conference win is huge at this point, but I think the Oklahoma game could be the biggest reaming game in terms of perception. With some traditional tourney teams having a down year, the league isn’t getting a ton of national respect, nothing new there. A good showing in the SEC/B12 challenge would be huge for the conference as a whole.

I’m not. They just had their best offensive game yet against an awful defense and only scored 82 at home. I think we win rather easily by about 10-15
