My thoughts....

Juwan Gary: when he starts, we are too athletic/fast/quick for anybody in the country. He’s a damn beast.

Jahvon Quinerly: we had a 5-Star put in a box, labeled, with a bow on top practically given to us. Thank you Villanova for that one, dude is the real deal.

Alex Reese: he’s different than he was, I like the value he is bringing.

John Petty: if he has 4 above average shooting games in a row starting now, Bama will win its 1st National Championship. If he doesn’t, we could still grind defensively and give ourselves a shot too. We can win so many different ways.

Joshua Primo: he was SORELY missed. His size/length is perfect for this team. He’s very valuable, and definitely living up to his 5-Star hype.

Keon Ellis/Jaden Shackelford: Love their grind, love their shooting.

Herb: I was wrong about him, I’ve figure that out in the Sec tourney until now. He’s fantastic

Mark Turgeon said Alabama’s best player “didn’t play,” referring to Herb Jones’ 17 minutes because of his four fouls. Turgeon said Alabama probably learned something about itself having to play without Jones. Turgeon continued to rave about Jahvon Quinerly’s play.

Shak is turning in a leader. He’s the most consistent guy offensively and I’ve been preaching that. He will be huge for us next season and then I could see him playing pro ball.

There's a difference when Reese is out there. He settles everyone down and seems to set the tone... I... can't believe I'm saying that.

"Really happy for our guys. It's been a long time since they played in a Sweet 16 here. The offense was bound to come. I told them after the first game, let's just lose ourselves in the game and the blue collar stuff."
