Pretty sad to see how bad Butler is at basketball now. They’re getting worked by Creighton and the Plantation Owner. 81-49 with 2 mins left.

Could be a little of both - disclaimer is I haven't seen any video of what happened and don't know most of the details.
He's right about the building. He's Patrick Ewing and it's MSG. Just about everyone in that building should know who he is based off of his Knicks career. Even if you're too young and don't remember that, i'd think you would be able to recognize the HC of a team that just finished playing a game.

I guess I can see both sides of this one. It’s Patrick Ewing... who the hell is asking him for a pass at MSG? At the same time, your team just beat the #1 seed in your conference tournament and we’re talking about you instead. Get over yourself. Nobody asked you about your treatment by security. Go to your press conference, compliment your team as deserved, and make a phone call later if needed. Seems a bit pretentious to me.
ETA: This wouldn’t be a story if he didn’t make it one. He gave that comment unprompted. That says enough for me to know how I feel about it.

Anybody know where to find charges taken stats?
Announcer on the OU/KU game just called someone a "charge taker" and said he had "8 or 9" this year.
Just curious what our numbers are as I wouldn't be surprised if we had 3-4 guys with close to that many.

I understand what he’s saying, but he’s being extremely entitled and self absorbed. I’m sure that security has had many meetings about how they have to check credentials on everyone, no matter who it is or whether they know them, I bet there are cameras everywhere watching what they are doing as well.
If one of the security guards just let Ewing slide by without checking him, there’s chance that he’d lose his job and Ewing damn sure isn’t going to pay his bills for him.

When they play good they are really good, but they are really up and down, they are liable to play terribly tomorrow.

Some people working in MSG probably weren't even born yet when he played for the Knicks, and it's not like he looks the same as he did then. I probably wouldn't recognize him if I saw him in person either.

I get that he can be a little goofy or whatever, but I don't get the hate. Dude is obviously a pretty damn good basketball coach. He's a little unconventional with his transfer game, but he's getting the job done at a pretty high level.

Yea, he’s a prick. If he had a problem, he could have contacted Dolan behind the scenes. It’s embarrassing and he should feel ashamed

Its weird that you don't get it, it's pretty obvious why a lot of people would find him annoying and not like him.
He whines and pouts like a baby when they lose and does things like rip his shirt off when they win. What other sports coach do you know that rips their shirt off when they win?

Yeah, same, I am not denying that he is a good coach.
He stormed off the court without acknowledging Oats or any of our players when we beat them by 30 is the main reason I don't like him. Before that I just thought he was annoying and gimmicky.
