this season is going to be a wash like AU's was last year. But season 2 should tell us a lot more. Those that follow the program closer please tell me who are going to be our playmakers next year. And this would include those having to sit out a transfer year. Are we going to have go get a JUCO stud or two to help while our young kids develop. They do the JUCO route in football like AU did when they got their QB from a few years back

I would say Nick King, Ferguson, and probably Ingram. I think everyone else are role players.

Brandon Key on the ND game
And of course, Ferguson was definitely in tune for it

We won on the court... But coach lost with the Dab

FSU looks like the heavy favorite for Knox.
What kind of shot do you think we have?
And is there anyone else we should be keeping an eye on that isn't in the OP?

I don't think we have much of a shot but I also thought that at times about Ferguson and Key.
Marques Bolden didn't list us as a team he's considering so I think that ship has officially sailed: LINK
I'm sure Bruno Fernando isn't the only post we are still recruiting, but it's the only name I've seen.

John Petty said us, UK, Auburn, and Georgia are recruiting him hardest. He said we talk to him the most: LINK

Man, I really hope we get Petty. Him and Ferguson would be so much fun to watch play together if it works out that way.

If Ferguson performs to the level scouts expect, he'll only be at Bama for a year.

I honestly hope for that kind of production from Ferguson. It would suck losing a player like him only after a year of play, but CAJ having that signature one-and-done player, I think would help tremendously on the recruiting trail.

I don't disagree but i've seen RTR America post a few things from NBA scouts that make me think Ferguson might stay two years.
ETA: But I know I am just being greedy.

I've heard that our staff now believes Bolden will sign with Kansas. Also Bruno Fernando was #2 option for several other schools that have recently offered. His recruitment seems like it is just now taking off so there's no telling what he'll do.

Bit of a side note....
I notice our Women's team is undefeated.
Anyone know anything about it. Looking at their scores, they've won every game in convincing fashion, from 7pts to down right blow outs.
Although
-Every opponent has been at home or a neutral venue
-I have no idea if any of our opponents even have a pulse
-Looking at the schedule, they could go in to SEC play undefeated if they keep up this form. The trouble looks to be Georgia Tech in Atlanta and Georgetown in Tuscaloosa.
thoughts?

The teams we've played thus far are not good at all. I like what Curry did with the nonconference though because we need to get as many easy wins as possible before SEC play. That way we might be able to get into the NIT and any postseason play is big for what Curry is trying to do.
