I saw on Twitter that Terryonte Thomas, Robert Woodard, and Alex Reese will be visiting this weekend. I would imagine a ton of basketball prospects will be on campus.

We beat Belmont 85-69. Didn't see any individual stats posted, but Retin was named the MVP.

starting 5

My guess would be: Retin, Coleman, Edwards, Hale and Taylor or Retin, Edwards, Norris, Hale and Taylor.

Ryan Noel, a contributor for Kansas' 24/7 site, crystal balled Marques Bolden to Bama.

Not saying he's an expert by any stretch, but the Kansas guy making that prediction did catch my attention.

CAJ has all but said Dazon will be our starting PG. I'd say...

Dazon, Retin, Edwards, Hale, Taylor.

Really the Edwards slot is the only really questionable one. I could see any of you guys' guesses at that spot. The other 4 are pretty much set.

Very well could start. I believe he'll close tight games, especially by conference play.

One thing I like about Ingram is that he can offer a ton of versatility but I'm not sure it makes much sense starting him and Retin together since their skill sets are very similar.

Unless you've seen something I haven't, the only thing that I've seen referencing that was what Ingram said in an article before he committed. He said something along the lines of CAJ saying he wanted him to start at PG. Who knows what was really said, but I doubt CAJ would just hand him the starting job when he had barely seen him play.

Based on recent rumors, Austin has been the surprise standout among the freshmen, not Dazon. I'm not saying he won't win the starting job, but I believe that it's far from set.

If I had to guess:

Coleman, Retin, Norris, Hale, and Taylor.

Nah. He's said it publicly on more than one occasion. I mean he's actually said "Dazon's going to be our point guard". Now, that could change, but that's been the plan. And yeah, I've heard that Austin's been the surprise. Dazon was expected to be really good, though.

Not saying you're wrong, but do you have a link to that?

Edit: I've seen him say that Dazon is definitely A PG

No link. One place he said it was on that Periscope video where he was telling someone who our top big-man recruiting targets were. It's pretty well known on other message boards that he's said Ingram is the PG. I'm far from the only one saying it.

I haven't heard him say that I've heard its a competition between the two but seeing a lil of the scrimmage film I'm pretty sure he likes his size and driving ability.

Also, Hall is already battling Taylor for starting center. Hall blew up (and grew about 2+") a good bit his senior season and began to look like a legit big-time recruit, and not just a project. I'm very interested to see him, especially in a year or so. He's close to 6'11" now.

I know Johnson said that center was one of the positions where there's a battle for the starting spot, but with how much he's talked about relying on Taylor this year, I can't see Hall starting or playing more minutes. Then again, if Hall is already impressing the staff this much, that can only be good news for us.

Hall has always been a very under the radar pick-up. I haven't been more excited about a post player since Hendrix. His only issue right now is his frame (understandably thin given his quick growth spurt). Once he builds up a bigger base, watch out. He's a more athletic, better rebounding, Jimmie.
