I think it would be a dick make someone leave later down the road. I think the one kid that should probably leave is Jeff Garrett. I could be wrong though.

My son has a teammate who just transferred to Ferguson's joke of a high school. He also plays for The Mo Williams academy. I'll see if my son find out anything.

His friend that just transferred there though is 6-1 PG, Marcus Shaver. Unreal player, just finished his soph year at St Mary's here in Phoenix and left. Only rated a 3*** but Arizona was heavily recruiting him. Kentucky and Georgetown have also been after him. Hopefully he comes to the Tide in a couple years.

Sucks but hopefully he's the last guy that leaves.

Meh. Wasn't an SEC caliber player. He could have success in a smaller school at a smaller conference.

He wasn't a SEC caliber player???? A kid with his shooting ability could thrive with the chance to play.

I think we are seeing a BB "process" as some have been told they wont see much PT. With that being said I think AJ has a few cards up his sleeve. Bringing in JUCO kids to help pronto is usually how a FB coach does it if he is undermanned coming into a new job. Does David Robinson have a year left

Career high three points. Come on, man. I realize it was just one year under a bad coaching staff, but he still couldn't get on the court, even with our injuries, and when he did he look completely lost. This might actually be a good thing. More scholarships for CAJ to work with.

But his son is supposed to be a "preferred walk on" at Duke this year.. Wonder how hard it'd be to flip him with a scholarship (doubt money matters though)..

ETA: Mitchell tweeted yesterday: "Everytime I try to take a step forward somehow, someway, something comes up." Makes it sound like it may not have been his choice.

Just saw a tweet that said Shannon Hale wont be leaving. That's good news.

As long as Gottfried doesn't get Hale or Coleman like he is trying too and Taylor stays, I am happy.

Wasn't an SEC caliber player? You do realize last year was his first year? Hard to say that a former top 100 player wasn't SEC caliber after his freshman year where he played very little.

He wasn't a top 100 player, but I digress. He was probably processed, but who cares at this point. His departure isn't going to make a huge difference next year or the following years.

He was on 247, but like you said:

I don't buy that he's being processed. If we had filled our scholarship allotment at this time, then sure, that makes sense. Forcing a guy out that the coach knows little to nothing about talent-wise when you already have 3 open scholarships doesn't make sense at all.

Anyways I guess we can add former VCU commit, Tevin Mack, to the list. We reportedly reached out to him. Top 100 SF.
