We still should beat MSU. Ware is their only big man I'm pretty sure and our guards are more talented. As long as Retin/Lacey don't herp derp it up we should be fine IMO.

Yea I still don't think we will lose this one. Our depth at guard is thankfully fine. I'm more worried about this injury for future games. I just hope it isn't a nagging one.

Me too. Releford being out for one game isn't a big deal. If he is going to be hit or miss the rest of the year any shot we had at a respectable conference season is probably shot.

So is Randolph or Cooper going off for 25+ tomorrow?

ETA: Jacobs will get at least 14

Randolph will never take enough shots to score 25, so Cooper.

Cooper or Lacey will have at least 20 tomorrow. Randolph is slowly getting more and more aggressive this season though, which bodes well for the future.

I changed my mind. Pollard will be the one that goes off tonight.

I think Jacobs has a huge game. I know, call me crazy, but State doesn't have an inside presence really.

Jacobs could have a big game, but Gavin Ware does have a big enough body to force Jacobs right which will shut him down completely. Jacobs has gone right 1 and a half times this year from my knowledge. I would give him 2, but the 2nd time he didn't turn completely and shot a weird looking shot with his left hand. Regardless, both times I've seen him do so he has scored.

Can't believe I'm breaking out the RPI watch but we are somehow 59th. I know we all are thinking of some comparisons to two years ago assuming we have a similarly good conference season, but there's really no comparison. It took us all year just to get up to the 75 range in that case. I don't know what our RPI was at this point that year but my guess would be in the 100's (and not the low hundreds).

Seems odd but we could make the tournament.

If we had just done what we were supposed to do against Mercer and Tulane

We really should have won the Cincinnati game too.

How in the hell? I figured we would be in the 90-110 range. RPI is somewhat meaningful at this point. Everyone has played 4 conference games. We don't have a quality win and we have 2 bad losses to Mercer and Tulane though, so I don't get it. Our SoS is pretty good, which is probably our saving grace at this point I guess. If we are 59 right now, 12 or 13 SEC wins might actually get us in as an 11 or 12 seed. Unfortunately, we still have several games left against LSU, UGA, Vandy, State, and USCe, which will probably cause our SoS to tank.

We were in the 70's after the Non-conference schedule. Its the only reason I've been saying its possible for us to get 13 wins and get in the NCAAT.

Most of the teams we have played have very good or at least decent RPIs. Our non-conference SOS was like 21st in the nation or something like that.

If we beat UK Tuesday, I'll start believing that this could happen

We are the 6th team out in Lunardi's bracket.
