State wins 9-4. Jake Hubbard threw two scoreless innings in the 8th and 9th, allowing just one baserunner. If we get another outing or two like that from him, where he looks like his old healthy self, before the NCAA tournament he could be a huge boost providing us with some desperately needed bullpen help.

I've lost all hope of a deep run. Not enough depth in the rotation to carry us deep.

We're scoreless in the bottom of the 3rd tonight. Turnbull doesn't have good command but has survived so far. Haynie had a two-out hit with Smith on 2nd in the 2nd inning. Smith was called out on a close play at home. He was safe.

Another absurd call ends the third. With White on first, Moore grounded to third, he bobbled it and Moore beat the throw by a step but was called out. Just a terrible call.

Still scoreless going to the bottom of the 4th. Turnbull has had two runners on in three innings so far, 65 pitches and just 35 strikes. Struggling despite the zero runs.

It's getting crazy, third straight inning ends on a bad call. Overstreet called out going from first to second on a slow grounder even though they appeared to miss the tag.

Gaspard needs to get himself tossed, maybe it'll energize his team and nobody could blame him with these clowns umpiring this game. Our last three innings have ended with him barking at the umpires, the last two face to face on the field.

I've never seen anything like it.

On the plus side Turnbull has been better the last couple of innings. He's thrown so many pitches though that he probably only has one more in him.

Is this the same crew we had vs UF?

They stole game 2.

No idea.

State's 9th hitter in their lineup hits his first career homer leading off the 7th. Anything and everything that can go wrong has been going wrong for us for a while now. Maybe that means we're due for some good karma in the postseason We'd have to play better to take advantage of it though.

1-0 T7

Keller looked good in the 8th but has walked the first two in the 9th and is taken out. Shaw on to pitch. Still think if Keller comes out feeling healthy he's the likely starter Tuesday.

Shaw gets out of the jam, 1-0 going to the bottom of the ninth. We really need to score. #analysis

Leadoff single but we don't get him past first. 1-0 final. Our lineup is atrocious. With a win tomorrow we'll either be the 7 or 8 seed at the SEC tournament. With a loss we'll be anywhere 8-10.

two frickin morons strike out with the bat on their shoulder in the 9th with runner on 1st.

Screw this..I am putting all my energy into pulling for Tide Softball. Call me when we find some hitters.

Gaspard has to do something to shake up the batting order. He just keeps running the same thing out there and we haven't hit the ball for four weeks. Our 1-6, our best hitters who need to produce runs, has been constant:

White
Salem
Moore
Wass
Overstreet
Smith

The 7-9 has varied based on who is playing LF, 3B, and DH.

Personally I'd like to see:

White
Moore
Smith
Overstreet
Wass

And then whatever variation at 6-9. Based on who that is, I wouldn't even mind seeing Salem all the way down in 9th. But we can't just keep running the same lineup out there every day and expect things to change.

It's not the umpires fault we suck right now. You have to be able to hit the ball and produce with or without their help.
