Infield single by Moore gives us a 4-3 lead in the ninth, still two on and two out... Wass strikes out to end the frame.

Alabama wins 4-3! Burrows pitches around a walk in the ninth to protect the lead, he'll be the winning pitcher.

Certainly nice to win this one for once, hopefully we win the three against them that count in the SEC too though.

I just hope we start scoring runs. I haven't followed that closely yet but it's sad to see games with no runs.

That's true, it's been a surprising struggle offensively. We are averaging 8 runs a game over our last two games though

Great win last night. I went to the game so I did not post any during it. Burrows looked good in relief but Guilbeau struggled some. He has to get better command if he is going to pitch more.

Jon Keller is going to get the start this Sunday. Safe to say it's his job to lose when SEC play rolls around if he performs well. Mississippi Valley St is 0-12 so it's ok to say that he and everybody else should perform quite well...

Anybody know what happened to Keaton Haack? He pitched for us last year but is not on the roster this year.

Did a Google search for him and it looks like he's at Pitt Community College. No idea how or why he ended up there.

I havent had time to look into the stats from out past couple of series. I know out pitching staff i strong but how is out offense? Any weaknesses on defense?

Offense struggled last week a good bit. Scored one run in the game against USM and then got shutout in the first two games at ULL. Exploded for 12 runs on 21 hits Sunday there though and followed it up with a decent effort against Auburn. Defense actually hasn't been as solid as we would like, had three errors against Auburn (one was catcher's interference), but we're still as good as anybody up the middle with White, Overstreet, and Salem.
