They get a bunt down and score. We don't and hopefully it won't bite us. Moore walks so maybe it didn't matter. Although if Salem gets the ball in play who knows if they don't derp it like us.

What was Smith doing waving at that 2-0 pitch on the outside-ish part of the plate? You gotta be sitting on a certain pitch and drive it if you get it if you're gonna hack there

This pitcher has nasty, nasty movement and good velocity. We crushed the other side arm guys we saw this weekend but they all threw 83-84. This guy is 87-88 with a hard slider and 9 to 5 movement on every fastball.

This is such B.S. , we bunt on a 3-1 count that is a hitters Paradise.
Then we got someone swinging for the fences with one out and bases juiced.
Then a guy swings at ball 3 which would have tied the game, if he drew a walk.
Our pitcher doesn't impress me at all.
Unreal.

Oh I know he has really good stuff. He was a perfect guy for them to bring in in that spot. I was just commenting on the 2-0 pitch to Smith. Bases loaded, pressure on the pitcher, he just needs to be sitting on one pitch in one spot to drive. Otherwise just take it and maybe it's 3-0. A defensive hack like he had is just mind-blowing.
Anywho, great inning by Shaw there getting them in order. Giving up a run or two there after we left them loaded could've been a killer.

That pitch to Vincent was questionable but he's been mostly consistent. Think he's the same one who was behind the plate when we played FSU.
