Pretty lethargic 2nd half

A win is a win, but we will need to put together two good halves Wednesday

Tried to hit a 3pt kill shot, missed two times, gave up an easy transition basket to get it back to 10.

We're fortunate that South Carolina is not good.

Allen fouled out fouling a 3pt shot. Not a great night for him.

USC has a few athletes. Meechie and Knox for sure.
Good win. They all count. Have you guys noticed how clutch Holloway has become at the end of games lately. Wrightsell has finally come to the party now too.Just needs to stay healthy.

Several spurts of sloppy basketball tonight, but decent enough win against a team trying to play physical prison ball.

We’ve got to cut down on turnovers when people are bodying us. That, and practice FTs for about 5 hours everyday.

What’s so crazy is we were 24-26 at the line Wednesday.

It’s wild though because a handful were not because of defensive pressure at all.

We were much better in the 2nd half besides Wrightsell inexplicably going 0-2 for some reason. In the first half they did a good job of fouling the right guys. I think don’t guards had an attempt until the 2nd half.

Think there were only 3 misses in the 2nd half and two of them were Wrightsell seemingly forgetting how to FT on his first two attempts.

This will be the first top 10 in conference game on the road for Ark (losing to the 10th ranked team UGA and 11th Auburn, beat the teams lower than that). That's sort of a big deal here imo. They've played all the teams ranked lower than 9th except S Carolina. Nobody higher.

We have to be more aggressive on defense though. And REBOUND!

Why does it seem that we always get one of the tougher draws in conference and our top games at home tend to be midweek instead of Saturday?

This. AS is big enough to be much more of a presence in the paint. It's great that he can shoot from outside but we have plenty of people that can shoot from outside. We need a DAWG in the paint.

Ala being unranked last week was absurd. Now, we’ve won 4 in a row. What will they do tomorrow? I mean we have beaten 2 of them.

Miami-Ohio 84th Kempom (67 behind Ala). Ranked 23rd in AP.
Clemson 34th (17 behind Ala), ranked 20th.
North Carolina is 28th (10 spots behind Ala). Currently, 11th in the AP.
Kentucky 27th (9 behind Ala), Ranked 25th.

assume we win Wed would Bama receive a first round bye should the season end Wed. I guess it would be based on who else won above us but we would receive the top 4 status over ARK based on head to head?
