If you’re upset or surprised you haven’t paid attention. This is how it always goes. Bama couldn’t beat these guys w/ Brandon Miller and company either. Don’t read too much into it. We struggle playing rugby.

I’m praying we don’t get UNC Wilmington in the 1st round. They are one of the biggest teams in the country and one of the best rebounding teams in the country. And they shoot the 3 well

The rebounding isn’t an effort thing btw. It’s a personnel thing by Oats and Preston. Idk why they went away from 3/4s with size. We haven’t recruited them since Hodgson left

I don't disagree for this season, but recent history suggests this has been one of the more tighter matchups in CBB since Oats took over. They've won 5 straight but they've been mostly tightly contested games in the Oats era.
The problem is when we get this type of relaxed whistle, we have to significantly outplay them because Tennessee will take full advantage of it.
And even if they call it tight, Barnes rides them on foul differential despite him knowing his team fouls significantly more. I honestly would love to see Oats go with this approach defensively. It allows your bad defender to be passable and officials tend to focus on that number far too much.
