Lawson needs to be in a mirror making that speech. He consistently plays himself out of the actual play. Runs into traffic, allows himself to be tangled with OL pushing upfield, never picks the right gap, absolutely zero ability to make a big hit and wrap up. Hes the worst linebacker we’ve had since Trey depriest.

He is a leader. One of his jobs is to motivate his teammates and encourage them. I’d rather that than him being bad and quiet. He is average, that’s fine, as long as he can have the qualities of a leader I’m good with it.

I prefer Rolando McLain but I get. I have acknowledged he knows the play book inside and out. Honestly I think better than Kane. He was pissed last week when Wommack couldn’t get the call in fast enough and had to call a timeout. But what a difference today would make against a run heavy team if Reuben Foster was coming downhill.
