Alabama baseball returns to action on Friday, March 13 to begin Southeastern Conference play, traveling to Lexington to take on No. 21 Kentucky. The Crimson Tide was swept in a three-game series in 2024 in its most recent series with the Wildcats.

This team just isn’t very good. Bottom 3 in batting average and ERA heading into this game and we didn’t exactly play a murderers row in non conference.

Some including me have commented on being last in the SEC in BA and second from bottom in the SEC in ERA did not bode well for the start of SEC play. This first game so far has been a cluster frick

Rob Vaughn is not it

Retaining JJ was definitely a questionable choice by Vaughn. Three years in, there's been some highlights under Vaughn but it doesn't look like the program is really taking any strides. Thought his analytical approach at the plate would produce a fun product but that hasn't been the case.
