With this schedule, a 22-12 record may get us a #3 or #4 seed. We are going to lose some games. Seems very different this year even though we've played really good schedules the last 3-4 years. Conference is as good as ever.

Pointing out the obvious here, but we knew we were really, really good last year before the season ever started.. I think we are all really curious to see this year's team. Is this a possible Elite Eight team or a middling 8/9 seed? I have no clue.

I think we'll go as far as the front court develops. Sherrell needs to take the next step. And Williamson needs to adjust to the speed and physicality of the SEC. While I liked Cliff, he really wasn't the room protector we assumed he'd be. Decent but not great.

I think this front court is more of what Oats wants to have. He'd like for us to play 5 out. But we'd obviously take someone who's an elite run protector, even if all they can do in offense is dunk .

That's a big reason I really, really want the Ratliff twins. NBA pedigree, 2 seven footers, both can for 3s and protect the rim, and you know their chemistry is unreal. It's the kind is chemistry that can make up a talent differential, except they're both ballers. We've had a ton of top 10-15 visitors. But I'd take the twins over any individual prospect. Plus, It's my theory that NBA kids will have a different prospective on development and NIL. They don't need to chase the biggest bag. That NIL money won't change their lives at all. The bag they're chasing in that 2nd NBA contract bag. And they have the natural talent and resources to reach their potential.

Would be awesome if the bracket gods could set up a Nate Oats/Will Wade Sweet 16 matchup at some point over the next couple of years.

Kentucky at 4 is so overrated.

I’m telling you we are the best team in the SEC. Us or Florida. People are soon gonna find out

Purdue will be #1 coming to T'town for sure. They won't lose either of their first two.
