Our WR recruiting has been very uninspiring. Did not see Saban visiting too many WR either. But my wish list would be.
AHall
Brian Thomas (Magilla says we lead)
Egbuka
Mario Thomas or Jackson or someone who emerges next season.

With Young Taulia and Maye coming in receivers should be asking "where does the line begin".

247's #1 player out of FL for '21 is from there, DT Leonard Taylor.

Also a pair of CBs too...

LINK ]BREAKING: Tide lands ACC grad transfer (BamaOnLine)
quote:

Alabama added a big piece to its 2020 class on Wednesday night as North Carolina grad transfer TE LINK ]Carl Tucker announced his commitment to the Crimson Tide following an unofficial visit to Tuscaloosa last weekend. Tucker chose the Tide over Florida State, among others.

“The biggest thing was how I would be used in the offense, what my role would be,” Tucker said of what he talked with UA coaches about during his visit. “Alabama has great players, and they see something in me to contribute to that offense, which is really cool. I like that they win. I like that they’re very consistent in what they do. I like that they’re real."

Tucker, a Tar Heel State native, joins Caden Clark as the second tight end in UA's 2020 class entering the fall. The position was a big one of need for UA's staff in the cycle. Originally a member of the 2015 class, Tucker was granted a sixth year of eligibility this offseason. He already graduated from UNC and plans to enroll at Alabama in the summer ahead of next season.

With the need at tight end for Alabama, making the move to Tuscaloosa made sense for Tucker. “Really I got one year left," he said. "I feel like Alabama could be a place that would make sense, a place where all they do is produce. And at the same time win while doing it.”

For his career in Chapel Hill, Tucker caught 36 passes for 549 yards and four touchdowns, appearing in 38 games. Tucker was granted a sixth year of eligibility.

As a recruit, Tucker was rated the No. 43 athlete and the No. 571 overall player in the class, per the 247Sports Composite rankings. He chose the Tar Heels over Clemson and Tennessee, among others.

Additional notes from Tucker's recruitment out of high school include: Played in the Semper Fidelis All-American Bowl. Helped lead Hough to a 10-4 record and the third round of the state playoffs as a senior. Had 23 catches for 316 yards and four TDs as a senior. Also had one kickoff return for 70 yards and one carry for 71 yards. High school head coach was Miles Aldridge.

With one week to go until National Signing Day, the Crimson Tide sits with the No. 1-ranked recruiting class, according to the industry-generated 247Sports Composite Rankings.

Would be nice if he can recreate that athleticism that pops on his high school highlights.
