Also they're paying 120k to recruits.
That’s just dumb, it’s not realistic value. 120k for DJ is not enough and too much for a TE. Cam got paid more than that 10 years ago.

Oh I agree. I was just curious about some of the comments posted on here. When Gilbert committed to the corndogs somebody posted something about them paying recruits 120k or something. And everybody was just like Yep. I just don't buy it.

Well if you believe some of the people on this board they have a silent QB commit and they're going to flip the DJ kid committed to Clempson. Also they're paying 120k to recruits. I'm new here so I'm honestly curious. Do people really believe that? I know recruiting can be somewhat shady but Lswho is paying recruits 6 figures? I find that hard to believe.
Something in the water ain't clean. And, I do believe 5 star kids typically get money under the table. Maybe not to the kid directly but to other family members in the way of jobs and the like. It's nothing for a wealthy, business owner booster to make a job for a recruit's parent making around or more than six figures. Look at the hospital charity CEO in Baton Rouge who just got 33 months in jail who was stealing charity money and had a former LSU player's mother and sister involved laundering the money and then he was giving them a cut of the money. LSU isn't the only place things like this happen at.
LSU pulling a 5 star out of the Atlanta metro area? 4 stars from Baltimore and DC? Unheard of. I wouldn't raise an eyebrow if we were talking about a kid from west Mississippi or east Texas - areas LSU has a lot of influence in and historic recruiting success.

Mater Dei breaks a long run after a dropped pass another run down to the 25

Honestly I just don't see anything that suspicious about a program that normally pulls a top 5 recruiting class when they go 9-3 or so on track to pull a top 3 class when they're in the natty discussion. Success breeds success. It's one of the reasons we always have a top class.
