BOL moderation is actually pretty relaxed now. Only thing they're very strict about is not posting stuff from other pay sites. And they'll chime in if posters get out of hand with personal insults. So, posting on their forum is actually about the same as this site. The main differences are positives, imo -- having a lot more posters with various contacts and their staff also actively conversing in the forum.

Not sure how to view Young's situation after last night. Starting QB McDaniel looks good in limited action before going down with an injury in game 1. Enter Kedon Slovis who looks pretty good for a true freshman until he goes down early in last night's game. So third stringer Fink comes in and lights up Utah on the way to an upset win.
Does Young look at the SC QB room and think it's pretty crowded since all 3 guys should return next season? Or does he look at it and think that 3 different guys have flourished in the new Graham Harrell offense and think he wants a piece of that? Then there's the whole dynamic of Helton being on the hot seat depending on the outcome of the latest game. He's probably feeling somewhat cooler in the britches this morning but lose next week and the heat is on again.
How do we view all this? What's y'alls take on it?

I think Young has moved on from USC.
He decided to travel across the country, with his family in tow, to watch Alabama play a morning game instead of staying in California to watch USC host a top 10 Utah last night.

Yea, there were flip rumors way before the season even started. I believe that their QB situation has given him the perfect excuse to make it public.

Fink's performance likely doesn't change anything. First off if you watched that game Fink was pretty lucky. He made several bad decisions that he was bailed out by his receivers and bad DB play. He isn't a great QB, reminded me of Blake Barnett. He was 3rd string for a reason. Utah choked more than anything. Second odds are Fink will still transfers at the end of this season if he wants a real shot to play.
I think he is looking at a tough road of beating out Daniels and Klovis and possibly not getting playing time until at least a redshirt junior year with a head coach that will be on the hot seat as long as he is at USC. The new AD is going to want to bring in his own guy. Unless Harrell becomes the next head coach at USC he will be gone when the staff is fired or when he gets a HC gig. A HC offer is likely going to come for him soon with the popularity of the Air Raid.
I think he is coming to Bama cause of Saban and Sarkisian and the likely stability of it along with the chance to beat out Mac and Tulia who won't have any starts although they have been in the system.
At this point I don't think even an Urban Meyer hire would get him to USC.
