Is it weird that I was getting nervous about not receiving my downvote? I am starting to get excited when I see it, especially if it is the first vote, and disappointed when I don't see it . I kind of wish the person would use multiple accounts for post they really don't like. I am going to downvote this post to pump myself up.

If he signs in their class again, does he not count against the 25?

Joseph already counted against UGA's annual signing limits and they don't ever get that spot back to use to sign any other recruit or transfer, but Joseph won't cost UGA a 2nd signing spot if UGA lands him coming out of juco. That part of the signing limit rule is designed to discourage schools from signing kids who really need to go to juco and get their academics in order and to encourage any who do sign a non-qualifier to take him when he graduates from juco.

What about Smalls? Do we like Banks more than him? Smalls seemed like a certainty in this class and he is a 5-star. What changed?

Tim, Hank and some insider posters have said Bama has cooled on Smalls. They didn't give any details as to why, but just said it's not due to any concerns about his football talent. Bama's staff loves Bank's character and his football talent. They like him as an ILB who's also excellent at rushing the QB from the inside and the edge. Banks really likes Bama's coaches and the program culture a lot too.

We still have a decent chance at signing Justin Flowe, too.

The 'Cane fans are loving getting one over on Bama . God bless'em. If you are reading this, good luck to you Dazalin, I hope you kill it in Coral Gables. With that being said if later you decide to flip to an SEC school or Clemson on NSD to send one particular UM message board into complete meltdown I'll be happy to treat you to Cajun Steamers or Parish Seafood next time I'm in Trussvegas .

Yes, we do. Flowe has scheduled one OV so far and it's to Bama on Sept 20. In this thread's 1st post, I try to keep the uncommitted targets witin each position group in order of who Bama is more likely to land. For LBs, I have Banks 1st, Flowe 2nd and Sampah 3rd. I think Sampah wanted to commit to Bama, but due to concerns about his sideline-to-sideline pursuit speed, Bama asked him to hold off until they evaluate how he does in that regard this season. It appears Clemson cooled on him too, perhaps for the same reason. So he committed to LSU. I think Bama would have a pretty good chance of flipping him if they decide they want to.

LINK ]Worsham decommits from Alabama (BamaOnLine)
quote:

Alabama's 2020 recruiting class is down a man as four-star wide receiver LINK ]Dazalin Worsham announced that he was de-committing from the program on Tuesday evening.

The Trussville (Ala.) Hewitt-Trussville product had been a member of the Crimson Tide's class since April of 2018.

"First off I would like to thank Coach Nick Saban and the rest of his staff for believing in me and giving me an opportunity to play the sport I love at the next level," Worsham tweeted. "I've thought about this for a while and it wasn't an easy decision to make, but with God, my family and friends, I would like to announce that I have de-committed from The University of Alabama."

The news comes following a weekend trip Miami, Worsham's first official visit.

The Tide is left with three wideouts in its class, all of which are rated four-star prospects -- Traeshon Holden, Javon Baker, and Thaiu Jones-Bell.

At 6-foot, 185 pounds, Worsham is rated the No. 48 receiver and the No. 257 overall player in the country, per the industry-generated 247Sports Composite Rankings.

Last season, Worsham caught 87 passes for 1,022 yards and 13 touchdowns on the way to making Second Team All-State for Class 7A.

The Hewitt-Trussville program has been good to the Tide in recent cycles. This past year, the Tide landed both four-star offensive tackle Piece Quick and four-star quarterback Paul Tyson. Alabama currently holds a 2020 pledge from four-star Huskies corner Malachi Moore.

Wide receiver is a position of need in the 2020 cycle, so even with the aforementioned quartet of pass catchers on board, the Tide was still in heavy pursuit of other wideouts in the 2020 class.

Currently rated at No. 2 in the 247Sports Composite Team Recruiting Rankings, the Tide is sitting with 20 commitments, good for a score of 287.11. Clemson sits at No. 1 in the standings with a score of 297.92.

UM fans are harmless, let them have thier fun. Plus if Bama gets Xzavier Henderson the infighting over who is better between Henderson and Worsham will be glorious .

Worsham already has 5 new CBs to Miami, including 2 Miami mods and Wiltfong.
