I'm not totally sure why, but I was listening to local (Tuscaloosa) sports radio this morning and Wimp Sanderson's son (apparently the morning show is Wimp and his son) said that Sexton didn't go to Georgia this weekend. I didn't see that mentioned in here, and haven't really seen it anywhere else. He said it like it he was sure he was right.
Proceeded to say he was pretty sure we'd get both Sexton and Petty this week and passed it over to Wimp:
"I haven't seen them play, but the staff seems to like them so that's probably a good thing." The best in the business.

Radio Wimp just gives no fricks. I think the entirety of his prep work is setting an alarm.
It's a pretty bad show, but I just can't do the Jay Barker show on WJOX, so I'll briefly listen to it every once in a while if I feel like sports radio. To be fair, they do seem to talk about basketball a fair amount.
He had an interview with Pelphrey and one of the questions was basically "I don't really know who half of these guys are, but it seems like you've got more depth this year"

I can't listen to the opening drive. It's horrible and Tony Kurre has no business being on a sports show.

Agreed. Meanwhile ATL has built 4 incredible arenas during the lifespan of bjcc...omni, ga dome,Phillips arena, and new dome.

Super unfortunate since I'd rather spend my money on entertainment here in Alabama with concert, shows, sports in a city more than capable of hosting bigger events...instead of driving to Nashville & Atl.
