Yep. Not sure how but we suck again. Can't defend and can't score in the half court. That's an awful loss

Avery better start cracking a whip on things or this is going to unravel.

The Petty 1 man offense show is an embarrassment. His arse should have been on the bench after the 1st one of those nonsensical heat check 3s. This isn't fvckin AAU and you aren't Steph Curry.

Collin needs to be told to make things happen every possession. He's not just another guy. He's the best ball handler, scorer around the rim and passer on the team. He should be making the final pass/shoot decision on almost every possession. Any possession in which his only touches are just starting the offense and nothing else are wasted possessions.

Yeah I mean Petty sucked, but as players go that loss is at least 75% on Sexton. He was lost all game on defense and had a Justin Coleman like offensive game.

The offensive side is on Avery as far as I'm concerned. We've looked out of sync for a week and he hasn't done anything. No adjustments, no nothing. Just let us all keep dribbling off our legs and throwing terrible passes.

On defense we just have no clue. We let guys easily float into the lane and then have zero idea how to recover. And then, on top of that, we don't put an arse on anybody to rebound.

I probably just need to go take a break, but shite I'm dissapointed right now. Really frickin dissapointed.

Still fricking pissed about today. Why did we stop pushing the ball upcourt? UCF was at the mercy of our offense when we went uptempo, yet fell right back into a slow half-court offense.

And jesus christ, can Avery learn how to defend the perimeter? Every year he's been here, we are constantly getting sucked into the paint, and leaving a guy WIDE arse OPEN from 3, and they bank it.

Tough loss. This one is for all our fans who thought we would breeze through our ooc games. more losses to come though I hope not too many. We are a very young team.

Yea, I'm really struggling with this one. UCF was hobbled and a game we should have won.

We are looking a 7-6 start square in the face.

I hope Byrne takes basketball as seriously as we want. This was demoralizing. I know we are playing freshmen and everyone says these things happen, but we are also depending on these freshmen to take us dancin.

I mean it is what it is, and if it was just today I would be pissed but not super melty.

We've looked like this for 3 games (the 3 player portion withstanding).

We now play 4 games against NCAA teams, 3 Top 26 KP teams and #48, over our next 5 games. Today was not a good one to lose.

i cant let myself get emotionally attached to BB yet like I am with FB. I guess today's game is a reason I have not gotten there yet. But boy did our Center ball out today. Good for him.

I said after the La Tech game that we're secretly bad, and obviously yesterday did nothing to change my mind. We only really excel in transition and quick offense. Problem is since we don't stop anyone we don't get those situations much.

That and we don't rebound well. I don't understand why didn't we push tempo even after made baskets.

Yeah we got killed on the glass yesterday, and Fall wasn't in the game that much so it wasn't just him.

My only hope for making the tournament is Key really improving our team. To be honest I think we're gonna go into conference play at 7-5.

They came in averaging 3-made 3s per game and shooting just above 23% from beyond the arc. Naturally, they walk right in and shoot 46% from deep, making 7 3s. We played right into their hands when the offense started slowing down.

Also, they only missed 8 shots in the 2nd half, compared to 17 in the first.

We need Key back bad.

Id like to see a starting 5 of sexton, ingram/petty, herb at the 3, key and hall.
