It’s been the best season I’ve ever experienced and it’s not over yet! It’s been fun going on this roller coaster ride with y’all from the beginning of the recruitment of the 2017 class until the win tonight. It’s been amazing! #BuckleUp

I'm just hoping some of you guys get to experience the sweet 16 soon (hopefully more). I took it for granted, but you guys have gone through hell.

I started really watching Bama basketball around the time Grant took over. The one tourney appearance in 2012 I missed bc I had school. So tonight was really my first time even getting to watch Alabama play in an NCAA tourney game. I was just happy to see them there......and then they won the dang thing

I forgot that I picked Petty to win the brick contest

I kind if framed it as who would have more missed 3s in the tournament.

I did that on purpose. You increase your chances of a Brick Laying Championship by winning more so than actual bricks

Say Petty goes a very solid 4-9 3FG against Nova in a L. He'd beat a 1-6 Brycke Brown who loses to CoC

Basically, you win if the guy plays well and you can still win if he bricks you out of the tournament. You still get to root for the other to brick his team out and lose or brick his team out to win the championship

Basically, it's hard to come out a loser

Someone asked me the other day if it bothers me all the bandwagon fans now that AU is winning while I stayed true during the lean decade...

I was like, are you F'ing kidding? This is a dream come true. I get to share a winning program w fellow fans, the crowds are more fun/exciting and I'm not the weird fan of a shite team

Any good fan welcomes and recruits more fans. You don't get points for being the first fan. This ain't a race but a community

Exactly. I just hate that I was too young to really enjoy the Wimp years. I didn't understand that what he was doing, was very difficult at Bama.

I'm gonna be honest though, I don't understand why some small schools can reach the pinnacle but Alabama and Auburn struggle. That pisses me off more than anyone knows.

I didnt get to enjoy the Sweet16 every year. My first year I watch Bama Basketball we blew like a 25 point lead to South Alabama in the tournament.

Sounds like Sexton got his tooth taken care of after the game. This is Jeff Goodmans tweet.

Collin Sexton not available in locker room because went to get treatment for loose tooth after taking an elbow to the mouth during the game.

You're probably thinking about it in a football mindset, which isn't necessarily appropriate for basketball. Nearly all the roadblocks for non P5 in football to succeed don't exist for basketball.

I'd argue that for a handful of smaller successful programs, they are in a better position to succeed relative to an Auburn/Alabama type program.

Outside of Petty... maybe the Volkswagen to a lesser extent.... I don't hate the Bama players' hair styles

I do hate that Sexton/Petty both have a few stray longer rat tail mullet strands. As if the Barber got a phone call at the ending and just said F it they won't notice. It honestly bothers me to watch

You're probably right, but the fact that we can't even get teams in the tournament on a regular basis, is concerning. My gosh, we are horrible.

He's right. We are damn near elite when Petty is hitting

If we play like we did tonight, I think we can beat anyone. We are capable of playing at an elite level. Beating Auburn twice, blowing out Tennessee by 28, beat URI/Okla/A&Mx2. We’ve had some great games. I really think we have a shot on Saturday. I don’t expect a win, but we definitely have a chance

If we shoot halfway decent and hustle, we can beat anyone.

So something that wasn't really talked about much when people were on the Nova discussion earlier. Nova's 2 worst losses (Providence/St Johns) line up with injuries to 2 key starters/players

L vs St Johns - Missing starters F Eric Paschall (concussion) + G Phil Booth (broken bone hand)
L vs Providence - Missing G Phil Booth + F Eric Paschall first game back

Sean Miller already said that those two plus Rawle Alkins won't be back next year

I don’t follow Arizona’s program close enough to have known that, but I do know that having players declare for the NBA like 4 minutes after getting blown out is funny.

I think Miller is kind of a shite coach at this point.

Saw somewhere that Zona will only have 5-6 returning scholarship players and don’t currently have anyone committed? Is that true?

Roll Tide yall. I fell asleep at halftime because I had to be at the office AT 5:30. Woke up around midnight and was ecstatic to see that we won. Bring on 'Nova!
