That would be amazing if he could play next game.....but I would be shocked if he doesnt miss at least 1 game. He couldnt even limp off the court, mustve been a severe sprain.

He's a "game time decision" according to Avery.
I've twisted my ankle pretty badly before and couldn't walk on it for 3-4 days. It's some serious pain, but after a few days it goes away. I'm hoping that's all it is

Junior is absolutely a huge worry when it comes to presses. He panics and loses his handle constantly when pressured. I hope Avery realizes this and limits Junior's minutes in that game.
I do believe this team does well against the press, but Smart's press is going to be tougher than most. I don't think Smart's a great coach, but that part he has down pat.

I think we matchup pretty well against press teams this year. I'm worried about teams that'll bang us down low like A&M and UK.

Agreed but moreso abt A&M. I know Kentucky will gell by March but I think we could be better than them this yr. I want to beat them too to humble that fanbase. They are convinced we paid for Sexton, not realizing or caring that neither he nor Baker were in the FBI affidavits. Also got it wrong abt the meeting....Colin was in Canada with the team during that time smh. When we lose football recruits we behave more rational than those people do about basketball. Anyhow, I agree that yesterday was a building point for our guys and I think we ll be a threat later on in season'

Collin is a 1 man press destroyer. However, when he comes out and Dazon or AJJr run the point........not so much

Yea - foul trouble issues are scary there. Good news is there aren't many teams with multiple talented bigs like A&M.

Apparently after Sexton missed the shot when they were up 3 and Minnesota ran the floor for an And-1, Sexton was winded and he walked over to the Minnesota bench and asked Pitino if he wanted to call a TO.

The kid is the ultimate competitor ,if he stays healthy and keeps playing within himself like he has this team is gonna do special things this year. A great player can take a team far in college basketball. Hes never forgotten that he was unranked and unknown at one time and he ll never cheat us on effort

They were honestly just kind of playing to get the game over but then Sexton went nuts and they kind of panicked. Like I said earlier, I was a little shocked Pitino didn't call timeout and administrator some sort of plan. They started out just passing around and someone would decide to take the open 3 but then they missed a few and we scored and they got tight and nobody wanted to shoot.
We literally had the ball down 3 with like 90 seconds left and Sexton missed a 3.

Damn....A&M is really fvckin good. Some were saying this was USC best team ever and A&M just destroyed them.

Yeah I’d say A&M is the surprise dark horse this year. I knew they would be better but dayum! They are looking like UK in maroon. Not the team to open SEC play with. That will be tough to avoid starting 0-1 in the league.

Big question with A&M is guard play...Their bigs are tough but I believe we can hold their own. I give sexton, petty, and Ingram the edge though on the perimeter. We ll be plenty tested by then
