It has to be a team that has a really good shooting day to beat them, I would think.
Yea we do not match up well, even at our best, with them.

Did we not recruit Garrison Brooks at all? I remember him being from Alabama and he's getting some major minutes for UNC tonight

Kentucky would have run em out of the building today then

Which by itself I have zero issue with, just when combined with the aw they're great stuff
Not sure why you feel this way. It's possible to beat a good teams arse. I mean, Purdue beat Zonas arse by 25, Zonas still a great team
I'd see nothing wrong w Avery walking out saying "AUs a good team.. and we have them the prison shower treatment"

Avery is still trying to prove himself and is notoriously a bit thin skinned.
The thin skin bothers me. Not good for the rivalry in my opinion

With the way UK is playing, I would love to see a UVA-UK matchup.

He went to Auburn high, if he stayed in state he was AU bound. He had a weird AF recruitment
-Dad played/ coaches as MSU and he signed early LOI there instead of AU/UNC
-Out of nowhere in the summer he basically demands to be released
- MSU rejects his request initially and says either go to prepschool or MSU
-Brooks doesn't budge and eventually gets release, some say it had stipulation no AU signing
-Everyone outside MSU says that MSU we're really sketchy/forcing him to MSU via Dad's job/benefits
-MSU people think AU is playing really dirty/paying the mother
- Brooks signs w UNC, so then UNC is dirty paying the mother per MSU fans

My God imagine how good Mississippi State would have been this year with Brooks and Malik Newman.

Virginia's just too good. Carolina tried to make a few runs but couldn't really close the gap.

I don't think Brooks would have been a big difference maker for State. Holman is better than Brooks and he isn't a huge upgrade over Stapleton
Newman would have made a much bigger difference as they need a shooter/SG

alabamambb? He’s done it! Collin Sexton has now scored an Alabama record 78 points (and counting!) in the #SECMBB tournament! Previous high was 77 set by James Robinson in 1992. ? ?#RollTide ?

If Petty plays half as good as he did in the last 10 minutes today and Hall is back then we have a chance to make a deep run.
I am very excited for the tourney. Roll Tide

Your head coach almost tried to start a fight with one of our coaches after the game.

What do you define as "deep run" exactly? Just curious
I consider Sweet 16 as included in "deep run" unless you are a 1-2 maybe some 3 seeds.
Except for the 1v8 matchup, I feel like most Sweet 16 matchup winners are who got hot rather than the better team

Getting past the first round is a deep run

Sweet 16 or farther. It would take Petty being the Petty that everyone expected him to be though. He has shown flashes of living up to his recruiting ranking, encouraging that he was able to do it away from home in a big way for the first time today, even if it was for just the last 10 minutes of the game.

You know I meant in terms of being defensive in interviews + comments about the rivalry
I've already said multiple times Bruce was in the wrong and it was a bad look....
Wouldn't call a guy pissed yelling at someone a fight though. Never looked like a physical altercation was imminent
