really hope we see Schaefer in the second half. A guy that won't turn it over and doesn't have a broken jump shot. But we'll see more of petty jacking up contested NBA range threes

Shooting talent is the ONLY excuse that needs to be uttered from here on out.

Can easily see UK running away with this one. We had a good run, but we simply don't have any reliable scorers that can match the pace with UK. The cats have even had some bad turnovers, but we can't turn them into fast-break opportunities.

Probably playing a small part. Kentucky is very active on defense as well, which tires them out more. They're making us work for every pass and every shot we take.

Team is blowing a lot of the good will they built up over the last couple of days.
They are not lol. They've played 3 straight days. Don't blow your load in the first half. Also missing Hall.

UK's shitty players hitting shots on us and their "defense" is just the refs letting them clobber us every time. UK is gonna get annihilated in the NCAA when it's fair game

We have ZERO inside presence with Donta out.

This is how we played during the first half vs Auburn

it's coaching as well. Low percentage shots are just that. Even great shooters miss them. We don't move on offense, that is the cause. The effect is we have poor shooters taking tough shots instead of easy ones
my middle school basketball team moved more and I mean that with all sincerity. There are never more than two guys moving when we have the ball, that's pretty fricking easy to defend. The ball handler and the guy setting the screen. That's it. That's our offense. Set a pick for the guy with the ball to allow him to pass it around the perimeter. Hope we can move it quickly enough to allow a drive opportunity for sexton. Petty drives every now and then but just panics when he gets to midrange and usually leaves his feet with no plan. Ingram is a good enough ball handler to bet his guy on the dribble, but when no one else is moving it's pretty easy to close him down. I'd just love to sit down with Avery and have him explain his offensive tactics to me. Just pop in the tape and ask "so what is your plan here on this possession?"
it's infuriating. Watched Tennessee yesterday and all 5 guys are moving without the basketball. It isn't some novel concept. It's imperative for any sport that requires putting the ball in a net. Hockey, soccer, basketball...if you aren't moving without the ball then you're easy to defend

Why even play the SEC tournament anymore? Just give the trophy to Kentucky. Every year.

Agree,.......we aren't setting up well

We are missing our second highest scorer and only interior presence.
Some things are too much to overcome unless Sexton goes for 40.
