Petty is a bad ft shooter too. It's crazy how he went from a very good player to literally not good at one single area

I feel like some of the guys on Alabama's team are just dumb. Like, I don't think they can carry on a normal conversation with anyone.

Petty’s got to put it on the floor and try to draw a foul.

I dribble better than Petty though so that is probably just an auto turnover.

Petty, Ingram, Key

This is all on their shoulders. Everybody else basically is what they are. Those 3 have either been hit or miss or just dogshite and were supposed to be key components, glue guys and add a dimension to this team. They just haven't.

And that's why we are what we are.

You are absolutely right! ...Key and Ingram are clueless.

As much as I want to put this game on Avery, I just can't. I think we have a good plan, the guys just can't execute the plan because they don't know basketball. It's frustrating as hell

Ingram and key have average athleticism and can't shoot. So what does that leave them? Basketball iq. And Ingram is really bad half of the time and key has given us about 20 combine minutes of good play the entire season.

It's as SOG just said, there is no leadership on this team outside of a true freshmen who will be in the NBA this year. Our 2 leaders should have been Key and Ingram, but neither ever seem to step up when they're needed the most.

I put it on Avery for playing his son though. He's worthless out there.

Can we get rid of Pelphrey in the offseason and pick up a coach that can coach some fricking offense?

But I mean, we don't have anyone else. And Avery Jr. isn't THAT much worse than the average backup PG.

If we are ranking reasons for sucking Avery Jr is not anywhere close to the top.

Their best player is 0/5 from 3, yet their team is 7/19. They're still getting shots whenever they want them.

Their center is 6'3", yet has more rebounds than 4/5 of our starters combined.

Coaching and effort. We don't have it.

Sometimes I feel like I'm watching a different game than this board is. We had some mental lapses and break downs on defense, but we didn't play horribly. At some point they just have to start making shots, but I realize that's not likely to happen.

Not only do they not lead by their play they don't lead by their effort or getting things right. They are the 2 you can count on the most for a boneheaded turnover, not closing out on a 3, losing a guy to box out on a rebound.

It's frustrating as shite and at their feet.

Meh his answer at the halftime interview to fix what's wrong was "get some stops so we can get out and run".

This just reinforces my belief that we don't really have an offensive identity outside of playing wide-arse open and out of control half the time.

Petty sure does talk a lot for not making a shot in 2 games.

This is going to fly like a rock but we need to get rid of Pettway.

I don't believe that. The limited time Schaffer has played he's seen the court and doesn't force his shot (which is good btw) he's a liability on defense but no more so than JR
