Bama basketball isn't good for the health. I had to go on a run after I got off work.
Not trying to be negative either, but why does Ingram always drive, look back to pass, and blindly throw it to the opposing team? He did the same thing last year and it's infuriating.

You just told me that "negativity breeds negativity" why did you tell me that if it has nothing to do with the team?

All I'm trying to say is that Avery "deserves" every bit of criticism that comes his way. And as fans, we "deserve" to be able to be honest and voice our opinions WHENEVER we want. There isn't a perfect time to speak your mind, you just do it. People don't have to like it. I'm not spreading lies or taking personal shots. Just don't tell me I'm not allowed to voice my opinion on a damn message board, that's based on opinions

I'm seriously not trying to win. I'm just trying to understand and to have the freedom to voice my opinions. I don't have a problem with anyone one here, but don't tell me what I can or can't say especially if it's just my opinion.
Hallelujah and where's the Tylenol

I’ve never understood some fans need to be miserable.

last 3 SEC tourney games decided by 4 points total

I mean hey, I was miserable while we were losing. I'm not super stoked about how Avery handled this team or how good he is going forward.
However.......I also realize how close we are to our 1st NCAA Tournament in 6 years and our 2nd in 12 years, and know how hard it is has not getting there and being so close. So, I'm not going to take "just getting to the tournament" for granted. I can compartmentalize the fact that I'm not sure about Avery going forward with where we are as a team and the fact that we are right on the verge of getting to the big prize.
I also know that this team has the ability to scare the shite out of some people if they play well in that tournament.
So, long story short, I'm excited.

can we all agree on this one little thiing? Avery did hold them together after losing 5 straight.
I wasn't sure that would happen.
Herbert looked better today, moving around better I thought.
Giddens and Smith played well I thought in respect to what they are capable of.
We definitely felt the pressure when it got under 10 minutes.

Yes he did - and our guys played really hard. They also ran very solid zone offense for the first 2/3 of the game.
Then, they got a little tight, we started missing shots.........and King Collin just stood up and refused to let us lose.
Not gonna lie, I can live with that formula. We can win some games that way.

Completely agree.
I don't know what happened, but this team lost their swagger after the late collapse at Auburn. The next three games were the most painful to watch of the entire season. UGA was the only other time they'd looked that inept. Even in losses, they'd competed and played with aggressive confidence.
They made dumb mistakes today. I had very unChristian thoughts when in the last 2 minutes we had 3 on 2, 1 on 0, and 3 on 1 fast breaks off of steals and came away with a whopping 2 points, but IMO the effort and aggressiveness of most of the season was there again.
Maybe the break was what they needed to get out of the funk. If they've genuinely escaped it, they're completely capable of beating Auburn tomorrow and winning a few games in the tourney.

All the favorites. Don't need to see anyone that isn't already a lock sneak in and steal an automatic.

did anyone else just hear the MSU player on the SECN right now that played from 76-79 say his best memory was beating Kentucky in 78 when they won it all?
We beat them. LSU beat them. Nobody else did.
please tell me someone else saw that
eta
MSU did beat them in '79 but not tbe year they won it. He got confused.

The win today should without a doubt have us in the tournament. A win tomorrow, and having a 2-1 record against Auburn should get us a top ten seed.
These are just my opinions. I don't know shite

Agreed, as long as we don't continually let AU have wide open looks from the 3 pt line like we did in Auburn.

We have to outrebound Aub. They are short but so athletic so they rebound well.
We need that advantage.
Why is this tourney in St Louis? It looks like an 8pm Wed night Coleman crowd.
