Proud to be on the 1st page. Hopefully this season turns into something more than crushed dreams and a demoralized self-worth.

Deep down I always knew what was going to happen and I bought the tickets anyways.

Alabama basketball is such a nice fit with my Atlanta pro sports team. They are basically a step-brother.

I remember one possession on offense, I watched Ingram pick a spot in the corner and he literally did not move a foot for the next 20 seconds.

I've been on it since day 1.

Did you not watch the playoff game? They popped their Atlanta sports cherry with a vengence in that one.

You always have to sit and wonder what kind of useful skill you could have picked up over time had you not become so emotionally attached to such a ball busting program.

To be fair, the possibility of a Dazon Ingram corner 3 is worth it.

Right. Right?

I did, but I put that more on Steffen than anything. To put it in hockey terms, he stood on his head. I don't mind getting beat by a truly exceptional performance.

(I propose to make this an AUFC thread from this point forward)

All that good will and excitement he spent so hard working to build over the last 3 years? Pissed away over a 5 game stretch to end this season. We'd better consider we will lose the next highly touted class if we DON'T do something about Avery.

It's always something and always will be. They are at least fun as hell, so the inevitable soul sucking loss won't start hurting too terribly until theyvr done it 3 to 4 times.

Honestly, they pissed it away over a 2.5 game stretch. It's remarkable.

That’s the sad part to me. Avery did work really hard to get the fanbase excited and we all bought in.

Yep - as usual the Alabama fanbase was begging the program to take that next step. Begging them.

And, as usual, they were kicked in the balls.

Like I said a few years ago. I don't care how much or little you promote the program. Just win.

If Avery doesn’t turn the season around and make the tourney, he’s gotta go. That’s the only way he can sort of make up for this.

Reading his comments postgame just make me wanna break something.
