An interesting and random stat from KenPom : comparing our players seasons to past players seasons by all across the board metrics. These are always interesting to me.
2018 Collin Sexton
2002 Dajuan Wagner (Memphis)
2008 Jerryd Bayless (Arizona)
2009 Shelvin Mack (Butler)
2015 Melo Trimble (Maryland)
2018 John Petty
2009 Terrico White (Ole Miss)
2011 Doron Lamb (Kentucky)
2018 Dazon Ingram
2007 Wesley Matthews (Marquette)
2012 Vander Blue (Marquette)
2017 Isaiah Briscoe (Kentucky)
2018 Donta Hall
2009 Chinemelu Elonu (Texas A&M)
2010 Rick Jackson (Syracuse)
2016 Mo Alie-Cox (VCU)
2018 Herb Jones
2009 Sean Mosley (Maryland)
2017 Alpha Diallo (Providence)
2018 Daniel Giddens
2007 Rashaad Singleton (Georgia)
2010 Festus Ezeli (Vanderbilt)
2014 Prince Ibeh (Texas)
- The Sexton-Wagner comparison is interesting
- The Ingram/Briscoe comp is dead on, even down to the left-handedness
- It's hilarious that Giddens closest comps are early Festus and early Ibeh, two guys physical guys who were learning how to play offensively.

About what I thought it would be

Should easily be 23-4 right now. Must beat Awbarn
Who? UK? I'd argue their record could easily be much worse than their current 19-9. They've had several close wins at home (4-point win over Vermont, 2-point win over Vandy, 1-point win over A&M amidst their early SEC Schedule struggle, and a 5-point win over UGA) and have lost to most of the good teams they've played against at home (UCLA, UT, UF) and everyone knows that Rupp gives them a huge advantage. The Arkansas win was impressive, but Arkansas and Mike Anderson's teams are also known to fold like a cheap tent. His teams rarely have close wins, but also rarely have close losses.

Gene is slacking on bringing us important Aub updates. From their board:

Heron on the other hand is a game time decision(flu).

Hearing Brown may also be out

Why would Brown be out? He's not 100%, but he played until the end of their last game. Something new?

What I was told is he’s had a minor foot injury and he reaggravated it last game. Still has some pain from the shoulder injury as well.
My guess would be he’s a gametime decision. I still think he plays.

I know people love to say things like "I want them at their best" and "I don't want a cheap win"..................frick that I hope all their players get vertigo for 8 hours, can't play and we get to play against their walk ons. Of course I hope they feel better in the morning and are good to go after that, but I want a NCAAT clinching win anyway we can get it. If that means they have to play with 3 players so be it (something I didn't even actually know was possible until Iron Bowl Saturday no-less).

I feel the same way. We’ve already shown we can beat Auburn when they’re full strength and we’re not. So let’s reverse it and see what happens. I’m starting to think we win tonight. Blake Lovell picked us to win also.

I have a pretty good feeling about the game. I have this feeling Ingram and Hall are both going to have big games for us.

I think a reporter saw Brown riding a bike to class a little while ago, so the feeling is he is good to go. The reporter was talking to Dunnaway on wjox when he saw Brown. There have been rumors of sickness down there, though.

Yeah that’s what the Auburn board is saying

Hope the guys don't get caught ball watching tonight. Be prepared for the extra pass, and for the love of god, rebound.

We seriously need our gameplan to revolve around feeding Hall/Giddens and/or Sexton driving. Auburn will be hesitant not to get in foul trouble while not having a full roster.
This means our gameplan will be to shoot 30 threes
