That was definitely a good one. I was also impressed at how well we were doing with outlet passes, especially by Reese.

Garrison Matthews scored 37 for Lipscomb in a 98-83 win yesterday. It was against DIII Emory though.

All but 2 of the teams on our schedule either won or didn't play yesterday.
Memphis lost obviously, and Mercer lost to UCF who is also on our schedule.

when all our players get healthy who is the starting 5. Giddens cant be one of them right? His stats from yesterday were not good.

played 5 min and got 4 fouls. I did not get to see the game but were they ticky tack fouls or undisciplined fouls?

Refs were calling some ticky tacky shite in the first half. But giddims is so damn big any times he makes a move the defense goes flying. The guy is a manchild.
He's the big man we've been yearning for these past couple of years. No more weak bigs like moussa gaye, Carl engstrom, or jimmy Taylor.

Some were undisciplined. Petty, Reese, and Herb mainly just getting adjusted to how officials in college call games.
A lot were tick tacky. Could hardly breath on a Memphis player in the first half without them calling a foul. Once they stopped in the 2nd half, Alabama dominated.

It's amazing what we witnessed last night. Alabama was down 4 players to start the game, got in the worst foul trouble I've ever seen, got behind by like 8 points, and somehow they all fought back against a pretty good Memphis team and got the win. They looked really good besides all the fouling in the first half. Was a really good game overall. Add in Collin Sexton, Braxton Key, Riley Norris, and eventually Armond Davis and this team could be very, very good. I'm so excited about this year. #BuckleUp

Fouls in the first half were awful! BAMA had 20 in the first half! 20!!!!! Memphis were whistled for 9 in comparison. You can read that several ways. 1) CAJ has these guys in their face playing D and being physical, 2) we didn't move our feet well and played with our hands too much, 3) refs sucked arse and called fouls on us if we farted in a Memphis players direction, or 4) some combination of all 4!
