I hope you guys are right bc I could see us losing the last four as well. Tough finish to the schedule . All are talented teams. Need at least one more win
@ Kentucky 2/17
@ API 2/21
Arkansas 2/24
Florida 2/27
@ A&M
I bet we go 4-1 or 5-0. I set the bar too high though

Lunardi's bracket that he released today would be great for us.
Nashville
7. Alabama
10. Providence
2. Cincinnati
15. Florida Gulf Coast
The whole region he has us in is pretty weak.
1. Virginia
3. Texas Tech
4. UT
5. West Virginia
6. Miami
8. Nevada
9. Seton Hall
11. Arkansas

We're in the South Region in that bracket too, so we'd go to Atlanta if we made it past the first weekend.

Alabama has an extremely good chance of making the South Region. In the official NCAA selection information, they have this quote
quote:
Teams will remain in or as close to their areas of natural interest as possible. .

I'd take that region in a heartbeat

Anybody going to the game this weekend? Might be fun to hit up Rupp and slide on over to the Yum! for UNC-Louisville.

That would be a great trip....but I'll be watching my son's team in the sweet 16 on Saturday at JSU!
(not so humble brag)

That's a quote from Jeff Goodman.
If Auburn has to part ways with Pearl, that would be a gut shot. I don't personally think they will, but just seeing that makes you wonder what's going on.

"Bruce Pearl has spoken with the Auburn administration...I think there will be more discussions in the next few weeks or months & I think that will determine certainly what his future is" - @GoodmanESPN

Sources tell @YahooSports that the breadth and depth of material in discovery in the Basketball corruption cases will alter the sport of college basketball. Hall of Fame coaches, Lottery picks and top programs are all exposed to significant sanctions.
quote:
“This goes a lot deeper in college basketball than four corrupt assistant coaches,” said a source who has been briefed on the details of the case. “When this all comes out, Hall of Fame coaches should be scared, lottery picks won’t be eligible to play and almost half of the 16 teams the NCAA showed on its initial NCAA tournament show this weekend should worry about their appearance being vacated.”

Holy shite. Kinda make sure you believe that the investigation by the FBI is over or nearly finished and now schools are trying to talk their way out of trouble.

I think we will be ok..Only top recruit we've gotten is Sexton and we sat him and got clearance to play him from the NCAA.
Kansas,UK,Duke,UNC, and Michigan State are all frickED and Honestly I would be shocked If Pearl isnt guilty.

I'm ready for Saturday.
A bad start for the Cats and the crowd could turn on them in Lexington. Think Ala football, 3 straight losses and then 3 straight 3 and outs vs S Miss. Ugly. I want to hear some booos.
Do season ticket holders get a chance to get ncaa tourney tix?

Guilty or implicated? I have no idea if he is clean, but the FBI's investigation is focused on Adidas/Nike paying recruits + NBA agents paying future lotto picks. While not impossible, it appears extremely unlikely that Auburn is involved with the FBI investigations this article covers as Auburn is an Under Armour School + limited NBA talent
Chuck Person's FBI case was under a completely separate indictment because it involved none of the shoe company or NBA agents involved in the other case.

I think this thing is going to be a lot less than people are making out. That Yahoo article is clickbait.

Agreed.
As I said above, even if it does become something, I don't see Auburn caught up with the path the FBI is following. That is a different indictment/investigation than the Persons case and there isn't a connection to Nike/Adidas or the agents
If Auburn has buried some bodies, it doesn't appear the FBI is digging in our graveyard is my point.
