I'm hyped after the Memphis game. The freshmen looked great. Petty, once he got into rhythm, is explosive as hell. Someone mentioned it in the thread, but he is definitely a guy to rely on when the offense gets stagnant. Reese is much more physical than I thought also.

Realistic to say we can go undefeated in non conference play?
Excluding Arizona

I'll own up and say I was Wrong.

With all the FBI stuff at Zona I think we got a shot to beat them.

I agree but it's the one I'm not confident on

I think we stepped up the program a notch.

Gonna temper expectations there. We looked good, but it was Memphis. We're not going to shoot 45% from the floor every game either.

So anyone know anything about lipscomb?

We aren't going to commit 20 fouls and turn it over ten times in the first half either

Very true, but I doubt we're going to run into a team that can't hit its first 10 shots from beyond the arc either.
We looked really good, but I still think Zona and Minnesota are losses unfortunately.

It was awesome and it's exciting but we'll have "freshman" games and we play some really solid teams.
And Memphis stinks.
Great start though.

I fear mid majors who shoot threes like crazy that teams than top teams. Lol. We don't have Dayton on the schedule again do we?

Maybe I'm alone, but Herb Jones impressed me the most tonight. The kid does everything well, and he might be the best defensive wing we've ever had if he's here long enough. I mean his on-ball defense is ridiculous, but he's a great help defender, contests shots, and blocks shots... I mean his defense will get him NBA looks just by itself.
Also shout out to Lawson. I keep saying this, but he should get more minutes than Junior. His handles are sick, he knows how to run an offense, doesn't panic under pressure, and he actually looked solid on defense as well.

No Dayton, but Rhode Island might fill that A10 loss void.

Let's not get ahead of ourselves. This is a very tough schedule.

How do y'all think the rotation pans out when we're at full strength?
I'm gonna go with...
Starters (28 MPG*)
PG - Sexton
SG - Ingram
SF - Petty
PF - Key
C - Hall
20 MPG*
6 - Jones
7 - Giddens
8 - Norris
8 MPG*
9 - Reese
10 - Junior
Spot Minutes
11 - Davis
12 - Schaffer
13 - Smith
* = Give or take 5 MPG
From a rotational standpoint, swapping Jones for Petty or Ingram to come off the bench would make a lot of sense to me, but I'm just not sure Coach will do that.
