Agreed, look at Duke..They're freaking stacked and they're having issues. Anyone who doesn't think youth is a factor is kidding themselves.
Duke is 19-4. That's not a good comparison.

Young takes 23 shots a game, his assists are high because he dominates the ball. I'd prefer Sexton even if he didn't play for us because he doesn't skate on effort .

I am through watching this team. It’s for the sake of the team. I watched Texas,Minnesota and Missouri. Didn’t see Oklahoma or Florida Either time.Going back through the schedule now to see how many games have cost us with my shitty viewing.

Actually Duke being 19-4 has little to do with anything. It could be argued they should be undefeated with that talent. Point being , with youth there will be issues even if the kids are talented.

The season is almost over. They aren't young anymore. They basically have a full season in their pocket. The Mizzou game was on Avery just as much as the players. We can't hide behind the "youth" excuse the entire season. Today's basketball depends on freshmen and sophomores. It's a different game.

Yes.
Q1 is 1-30 RPI at home and 1-75 RPI on the Road.

I can't help but agree that u just made a good point. I'd love to be 18-5 or 19-4 because we certainly could have been by now but I'm just staying patient because we re capable of peaking in March.

Anybody know why Alex Reese didnt play?? I thought he had been playing really well.

Wimp: Kidding, but I wonder if Wimp helped make halftime adjustments. That second half looked much more like a Wimp coaches team than an Avery coached team.

Wimp my guess is an invite by our AD to give him guidance on what is going on with this hot and cold team
Petty had 0 points 1 assist, 2 turnovers, and 3 Rebounds. I would bench him and start Jr. and Sexton as our guards next game.

Yea brother was asking about the big dude that shoots and doesn't give frick. I'm like Reese , and I don't know why he isn't playing.
With the wins we have is frustrating knowing we could be higher in the SEC standings without some of those losses.

Your guess would be wrong. Wimp has made a road trip with the team each year Avery has been here.

Reese presents a mismatch against slow bigs because he can play outside. Florida doesn't have any slow bigs at the moment. My guess is they thought Reese wasn't fast enough to keep up with Florida outside on defense and his post game isn't refined enough to take advantage of the size advantage on offense.

Wimp went to Kentucky two years ago
we'll be the #3 seed as of now (assuming Tenn beats Ole Miss ). Pretty sure we'd have the tiebreaker over Fla and Ken.

I don't think we are as bipolar as everyone is saying. We struggle with physical teams. If you just look at our guys that shouldn't be a surprise.
We also are so bad on offense in the half court that we have to defend well to get some buckets in transition or at least early offense. Teams that slow down the game and foul a ton force us to score at a slower pace.
