Honestly I just hit a point where I realize I just don't want to watch them anymore.
Hit it tonight. Don't give 2 shites whether that makes me a bad fan/alum/whatever.
I get more emotionally unstable watching Alabama basketball than I ever do watching football. It makes no sense. I hate it.

You know, we could pay someone to recognize a change in circumstances like that and make adjustments to our strategy in response to those changes. Or we could just keep Avery.

I thought our guys were attacking the basket, but when there are three guys standing under the basket, the right play is to kick it out. We just bricked a ton of open looks.

I understand being mad at Avery, but good God our players were awful. Key only took one shot, Petty was off, this was the worst Herb's played all year, and Hall was awful. Our hustle was solid the second half just a poor outing. Mizzou's size intimidated or at least threw our guys off.

Mizzou is shorthanded, has no ball handlers and is killing us pinning our guys on the block/pick and switches and getting big guy looks.
We have 10 guys who are long and athletic.
Seems like a good game to run and gun and press doesn't it? Nah, let's give token pressure and let them grind us down for 40 minutes. Great call.

The players were awful because they looked unprepared. We never made any adjustments during the game or anything

The 1st half was players. The fact that we didn't change ANYTHING defensively in the 2nd half was an abortion of coaching.
We just kept letting them slowly run their offense and pick and pin guys on the block. We didn't speed them up. We didn't attack their weakness. We didn't do shite.

Yeah it was really amazing how easily they controlled the pace. I thought our guys looked tired too. I don't know why, but they looked like they were gassed which shouldn't happen when you play 10 guys.

Avery wants us to play at an NBA pace, but has no idea how to impose that pace on a team that wants no part of it.

Yeah our press is so half assed. We just send two guys up there to put their hands up. They aren't forcing the guy to the sideline or really forcing him anywhere. The only time our press does anything is if the opposing point guard just dribbles right into a trap.
