I'd like to see that in context with the actual question because if the question was a simle "Coach, is everyone eligible?", that answer instead of a simple YES does not instill confidence.

Yeah for some reason every time he's asked about it, he won't directly answer the question. Idk why but it sort of worries me too

I THINK he's just being careful not to say anything that he can't backtrack on, but I wish he'd just be more straightforward too. But, maybe he thinks that IS straightforward. "We're using our roster. Our roster is 13 guys plus 2 walkons." Or whatever it was. I don't think he'd be playing Collin in the secret scrimmage, if he didn't think he was eligible.

Thanks for the video. After seeing it in context, it seems like he's really concerned about naming individual players but his answer seemed to emphasize that everyone is still eligible. Maybe he's just extra careful about NCAA rules since he's still very new to the college game. If so, good for him but I'd still like a simple yes...

Yeah, I get the feeling he's just being careful. They probably think they're fine, but are waiting to see if anything comes of it before they proclaim to the world that everyone is for sure playing every game and we're going to the Final Four.

He emphasized that we would be moving forward with the current roster which obviously indicates that he feels fine with Sexton's status.

This is what I think is going on. Sexton is eligible and they don't expect any evidence to come out that would hurt him. But they know there's still a very small chance something could come out later. So Avery doesn't want to say "Yes, Sexton is eligible" and then have to backtrack and say "Well I thought he was" if something happened. He's playing it safe

Wimp was on wjox yesterday and said they (Ala) have talked to everyone they can, he mentioned FBI and the NCAA, and they don't know of any reason not to play him. So Wimp said they are going to play him unless something else comes up.

Seems like streaming the game Friday may be pretty hard. It looks like even if you get CBSSN they only offer streaming for certain providers.
