Donta Hall stepped in a pothole getting off the team bus.

I got a bad feeling about tonight. I think Vandy is gonna make us pay for leaving people wide open from 3.

Can't wait to lose on the road by 17 to a under-500 Vandy team.

I was trying to remember ever winning there. Either I forgot about that one win, or I was busy playing with my friends that day.

I think people forget we have Collin Sexton. He's one of the few players out there that I honest-to-God think plays (and will play) better in away games and hostile environments. He just has that mentality.
He gives us a huge advantage that most away teams don't have. Sure we've lost 2 of the 3 neutral/away games he's played in, but Vandy isn't Arizona or Minnesota.
Do I think this will be a cakewalk? No, but I don't see any reason to think that we shouldn't be the favorites in this game. Vandy has lost 3 home games already this year.
Another thing: People keep talking about Vandy and our problems defending the 3... But what's funny is we hold opponents to 31% from behind the arc so far this season. I get that A&M had a lot of open looks from 3, but what we fail to realize is that a lot of that was probably by design considering they aren't a good shooting team and they were missing their shooters. Another funny thing? Vandy is shooting 2% worse from behind the arc than we are... They are shooting 32.5% from three (good for 273rd in the nation). That isn't to say that they can't get it together tonight, because they did hit 17 threes at around 50% in one game this season (albeit against a terrible Alcorn State team). I just don't view us as anything close to an underdog in this game.

All of that is reasonable, rational and makes a lot of sense.
However, counterpoint, #AlabamaBasketball.
