Wiley and Purifoy suspended indefinitely for Auburn. I doubt the decision on their eligibility will go really far into the season. You'd think it would be settled one way or the other in the next couple of weeks.

If AU/Players think it is permanent, you'd think they'd leave to play professionally in Europe/GLeague/Asia. Not like staying at Auburn not practicing is in their interest. Auburn's OOC is extremely weak, if the players are eligible by SEC play, the impact of this is fairly minor (1-2 games at most)

Obviously it isn't permanent because they were suspended indefinitely, not "ruled ineligible for the 2017-2018 season." Doesn't mean it couldn't become permanent. They'd be silly to leave right now since it is still open. But heck, maybe one of them is considering it. Who knows.

we maybe in trouble if Donta only has one leg
Giddens may play even more than expected. I have to think losing a leg will affect Donta's mobility at least a little until he adjusts.

Watch them do terrible against their trash OOC schedule, then come back and tank our rpi in conference play

If those guys play to their potential.. We could easily win 25 regular season games.

Auburn went 12-2 last year with a worse team / stronger OOC schedule. Hard to imagine they'll f*ck the duck on this one.
SEC collapse seems more than reasonable and quite frankly expected

SIAP, what day and time is the exhibition game vs UAH and will it be televised?

Avery and the players spoke to the media today. I'll post a summary below:
Giddens said he's ready to get back at it and dunk again (talking about he's ready to play since he sat a year)
Avery Jr said they don't pay attention to the rankings right now but they want to be at the top in the end
Avery Johnson talking about if anyone's ineligible: "We're moving forward with the roster that we have, and that's all I'll say about that."
Riley is progressing from the injury. Will have an update before the Memphis game. Armond is still out and hasn't practiced.
Freshman class is very confident
Avery liked how the team handled adversity against Baylor.
Avery is happy that they didn't call fouls in the scrimmage against Baylor bc he said Giddens was "very, very physical"
Herb has played at a high level. Avery said it's crazy the amount of comments he gets from scouts when they attend practice
Avery said Stillman College will play Mobile ahead of our exhibition against UAH
Have to improve on defense
Avery said hopefully he'll have the "problem" of being ranked #2 one day like the football team
They hope to be ranked a lot higher eventually this season but right now they're not playing like a ranked team according to Avery

So Auburn is going to OT against D2 Barry U
They have a white Steph Curry out here. I think he has 9 or 10 3FG on the game including game tying buzzer beater

Should I be worried about UAH now? Because I'm worried about UAH.

I think we'll be fine as long as it isn't an engineering competition.

Definitely. I'm not truly worried, was just exaggerating

They lost several seniors, so I think they're expecting to take a step back this year.
