Honest question, Do yall think the slight decrease in recruiting is due to the O/C and I think a defensive coach change ?

No, our offensive recruiting is the best it's ever been.We signed the number 1 middle linebacker the past two years in a row and are stacked with young talented players at every position, we've had what, 5 top 3 classes in a row? It's getting to the point where recruits probably won't see meaningful playing time til their Junior year, so because of that you're gonna lose some recruits that want to play early.Even with these two decomnitments we Still have the number 2 class are are about to add another 5 star next week in Demarcus Walker, I have no idea how people think our recruiting is "slipping" we are gonna sign a top 3 class again this year just like we have every other year under Saban.

Well if you dont think that changing an O/C and other staff has anything to do with recruiting, I ll just say it, you have very little knowledge how recruiting actually works, I know "We have Saban" we get who we want..Uh no..actually 4/5 of every recruits -recruitment is actually done either by position coach, or regional coach..Fact

I had said earlier in this thread that if the flip happened, I just wanted it to be in as classy a way possible, because I hate recruiting games. From what I read, he informed Saban of his decision ahead of time so that it wouldn't come as a surprise to him when it was announced. I'm glad for that.

I feel like the guys that play up the process and make high-profile dramatic switches rarely excel on the next level. Perilloux, Janzen Jackson, etc.

Do yall expect to accept KSMs commitment now or is the focus solely on Tunsil?

We have two top 20 rbs committed and lead for another 5 star rb, also we have a top 5 qb committed, if anything our offensive recruiting is better this year than it has been.We also have the same DC that we've always had under Saban so your argument makes no sense.

Iota McElwain didn't recruit. I guess Sunseri did hurt. Saban should have never let him go to UT.

I was joking about Dodd being processed, I'm sure he's a good player. Most people think we'll get Santa Marina, and we are in Tusil's top 3 but isn't saying much as far as who leads.

You guys do realize that Gunner went to Notre Dame to stay home to be closer to family .... Dodd is essentially going 350 miles further away from home.

Your analogy makes no sense. Kiel wanted to be closer whats Dodds excuse. I dont think hes going to be a starter at LSU till maybe his junior year as well unless hes coming on as a center.

Yes he did.I wish you and other Bandwagon Bama fans who know nothing about recruiting and freak out for no reason, would stop posting in this thread, sucks that most of the good knowledgeable Bama fans here got banned.

The thing is we need OL so I don't see Dodd's problem. We had the exact amount of OL when he committed as we do today.

I knew you were joking about that. I was just wondering if anyone had any insight on which direction yall go. It seems like KSM is willing to wait however long he has to for his commitment to be accepted, I haven't heard anything about him with regards to another school.

Why would him preferring to be somewhere else imply that he has a problem?
