Also said Anderson will see the field probably this fall as a backup for the inside and Lee at SAM. Apparantly both are looking really good and expectations on those 2 are high.

Anderson on the inside?
Damnit I've had him slated on the outside for months. What about my boy Ragland?

Ah. Well, they're the professionals. Mosley IS considered an OLB at the next level, so playing him there can work, I just hope he records more stats than Harris.
Mosley with his speed could be a nightmare for teams that like to run outside and short options.

Indeed. He'll be Denard's worst nightmare imo.

Yeah IIRC he got moved to the inside during the spring. I'm not too worried. I would have thought he would play outside but our LB's are crosstrained pretty well.

True, but I just can't picture him on the inside. If it works though, it works. Saban and Smart know what they're doing.
I like Ragland more though. Mostly because his name has more potential.

Looks to be moving him inside even though played outside in the spring. I guess with Dickson, Hubbard, and Mosley not a need for him there at the moment.
Said the SAM backup will be Atchison and Lee. The Mike and Will backups will be Patrick and Anderson as well as Devall and Ragland both getting looks there as well.

I can't wait to see Ragland. He's gonna be a terror on the inside.

For some reason guys like Jarrick Williams and Nick Perry and Tana Patrick all seem iffy to me. I don't know why, I think it feels like they keep getting leap frogged on the depth chart. Though all are hard workers who don't shy away from the competition!

Agreed. This kid's floor is All-SEC by his Junior year imo.

I agree but they do make our ST better. We recruit 4 stars for ST at UA

And the DePriest fricks up and Auburn returns a kick against us.
Damnit DeBEAST. You frick up on ONE play all year and it's a touchdown.

Pretty much. Nico will handle Mike duties, while CJ is our "Money" Linebacker, and will play Will in most situations, whereas on obvious run downs Trey will play Will. CJ isn't bad at all against the run, but it keeps him fresh and it lets Trey get playing time, plus he's just slightly better in that department. Ragland will play the role that Trey did last year. Adrian and Dickson are set on the outside. A-Hubb is like our Jack LB and X-Dicks is likely our Sam LB. Dickson should make more of a splash when he is on the field than Harris did. Hubbard has a lot of upside and will give a lot of OTs trouble. I think he can grab 10 sacks, especially if we play 14 games. Dickson is a 4-5 sack guy who can get after QBs from the outside (something Harris wasn't that good at) however he won't beat Hubbard to a sack.
Dickson at Sam? Doubtful, if fact I disagree with a lot of this.

It's what was speculated going into the spring and after the spring game that really didn't change. I figured we'd want Hubbard and Dickson on the field at the same time. Mosley at Sam works too.
Edit : Hell I may prefer CJ at Sam. DeBeast played more than Dickson last year anyway, so if our starting 11 in base had Hubbard, Mosley, Nico, and DeBeast all on the field together that'd be more experience.

At least Bama discussion is a lot better than the bullshite that was going on this past month or so. It's actually kind of nice to see real things discussed.

The SECr? Not really...
The msb? Not really...
It doesn't hurt anybody so just get over it.

Whats the deal with Tunsil? We have went over and over and over with the fact kids want to go where they play early. Well of his final three, UF and UGA signed Humphries and Theus last cycle. So they are theoretically deeper with young talented tackles.

I think this is recruiting discussion. Discussing the positions on our team and frankly at this point when we discuss linebacker we are log jammed to the point that any recruit we land is a luxury. Thus not much talk about recruits.

Depriest sounds cool, no reason to change it to something cliche and cheesy.
